wondering why my 18 month old has started whining constantly?

i know 18 month olds cry but he crys all the time. from sn up til sun down not like a i am hurt cry just a fussy cry.

he may have an ear infection my little girl done the same thing when she had an ear infection or maybe his molar teeth are coming in which doctors say are painful when they come in .

For how long has this been going on? Change of diet? Change of enviornment? You are wise to be concerned. Yes, 18 month olds cry, but this sounds like a lot of tears and it sounds like new behavior, so something is going on. He is trying to tell you something. How is he sleeping? Has that changed? How is he eating? Has that changed - used to eat well, not doesn't want food, for example.
I assume he has no temp you are worried about .... humm, is he pulling on an ear? Kids to that if they have an ear infection ... runny nose? Rash?

I guess you have checked all of the above and he's fine, that's why you are writing here, but it is what I know to suggest.

If this has been going on for a bit, or you see other things that conern you, I'd take him in to see a health care professional.

have u tried letting him go with just a diaper/pull up on? mayb the clothes r not comfy..also may have an ear infection..my youngest would fuss constantly, but not really cry whenever she had ear infections..if u have had him to the dr and health wise he is ok. then i'd try and distract him with different things to do thru out the day...
