Although I haven't even given birth yet, I am not looking forward to going back to work. I have been a kitchen manager at a local restaurant/pub for 8 years. I do have some computer skills & I paint murals. Any suggestions?

I agree with Jamie, I too have been with Premier Designs. I was a social worker until I became pregnant with triplets. I knew I would not be able to afford to go to work, but soon found out I could not affort not to go to work. I never really wore much jewelry before and had never sold anything. I was desperate and premier came in my life when I was praying for answers. It has now been over 3 years and I can't imagine what my life would be like without it. You make 50% from the start and get paid the night of every show. You have no hidden quotes and no inventory. The jewelry I show is my jewelry and I can sell it if I get bored of it. The hostess plan and marketing plan have not changed in 27 years and we continue to be a debt free company. My average hostess earns $250 in free jewelry and I earn on a average $800 - $1000 a month. It is your business! You figure out what your need is for your family and that tells you how many shows you need to do per month. If your goal is to make $1000 per month you just schedule 4-6 shows that month.

I work from home for a wellness company. There are no sales involved, no inventory, and you set your own hours. All you need is a phone & computer. I have a wonderful support staff, and absolutely love the company. I would love to show it to you so you can decide it it is right for you.

There is no solution to this problem I wish there was. I did some home working when my boys were about 4 but it took over the house and me away from my children. Homeworkers are paid a lot less than a factory worker and have no insurances either. Your best bet is to work evenings when your partner gets home form work, this is work like waitressing, shop work or if your really brave working the night shifts in hospitals and such. But as you have not had your baby yet you do not know if that baby is going to be a good sleeper so that you could work in the evenings. My advice is wait and see what happends, you might even turn out to be a mum that feels she offers more to her child by going out to work than staying at home. Stay at home mums are really hard workers and some mums prefer to go back to work. Neither is wrong, it depends purely on you.
