I honeslty think that even life in prison is to light a sentencing for killing an innocent baby. Kill a baby and keep on living? To the family, I am so sorry for your loss and I know that no matter what nothing will stop the pain or bring her back. I wish that everyone could appreciate the precious gift that is our children, our future. They are what we are supposed to live for.

I don't understand how the mother married the man after he broke her daughter's collar bone, I would have killed that man... I don't understand why the judge gave her back to the mother after seeing the signs of abuse during the period of the mother's relationship, I would have given full custody to one of the grandparents with only limited and supervised visits to the mother (if that).
My prayers go out to the father and the grandparents and rest of the family who suffered through this tragic event... but the mother and her husband can rot in hell.

I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out after that. It's heart wrenching when you think about the abuse she had to endure. Not only should he have life in prison without parole - but he should be sent to one of those horrilbe prisons in another country where they don't get treated as well as they are in our first world countries. He will burn in hell for it for eternity!! It's only when you think this that you feel some reprieve. And Kelsey will be sitting with God in Heaven in her divine right - I'm sure watching over her Daddy right now.

that is soooo sad I am in tears after watching that, how can anyone treat a helpless little girl like that you can see the happiness in her eyes when she was with daddy. God bless the family and I will be praying for her dad and grandparents. God bless

My thoughts and prayer go out to the family. My daughter was the victim of child abuse at the hands of her own father. At 5 1/2 months she was shaken while in his care. She has suffered brain damage as well as vision. She is now 8 years old and she is unable to walk, talk and is epileptic. Her father was sentenced to 40 years in prison for this horrific crime. It saddens me to tears to see yet another child has been abused. This has to stop.

this was the hardest video i have ever watched. I have a baby on the way and i could never imagine hurting my little one, and as for the mother how could anyone sit there and let a man hurt their child. I hope they never get out of prison that would not be fair they walk out and she doesnt get to live at all. Best wishes out to the family. Especially the dad. :'(

I think anyone who arms a child should be shot! They have no place in society and are obviously crazy, you'd have to be out of your mind to hurt an innocent child! If anyone ever tried to do anything to my son I would probably kill them, and there's not a jury in the world that would convict me!

Yeah that made me mad that they were that hateful to keep the only people who loved her and wanted to show their love away from the gravesite. I know she was absolutely beautiful! They did a good job at the photo shopping. I know I have a little boy who just turned 3 and let me tell you what, if someone ever touched my child or hurt him, it would not be good for them. There was a case here not to long ago where a mother and her 2 year old was shopping. The 2 year old was crying and wouldn't stop. So apparently some strange felt that it was okay to slap the 2 year old. Oh boy, they would have been pulling me off the man. People are so freaking stupid...makes you wonder if they were abused when they were a child or what exactly makes them think that it is okay to act that way!!

oh i know it and i could have just balled my eyes out when the police photo shopped it and to see how beautiful she is without the bruises oh thinking about all these kids makes me want to cry it deffenatly makes me charrish my son so much more and you are right it is the work of satin they just let him control them its so there just are not any words to what they did and then to put that gate over her grave that they wouldnt even buy a head stone for her so that the ppl who acctually loved her couldnt show their love for her oh man idk how anyone can hate something apart of their life so much like that

Yeah...thats who I was referring to also! Exactly, there are plenty of people who would love to be able to be a mother or father and then you have idiots like these you don't give a crap. I know a couple who has been trying to adopt and hasn't had any luck yet. They would be great parents and then you see something like this!! You know it has to be the devil!! The pictures of brianna were horrid!! Made me cry!

Wow...I pray for the family who actually loved her! I agree with an earlier remark from someone...they should have both got life in prison. It is the same thing as murder!! That makes me so mad. I watched a video of a baby girl...not even a year old. The mother, father, and uncle abused the baby and one night threw her up to the ceiling and then just let her hit the floor. Oh it makes me mad!!!

thats baby brianna i was talkin about :) oh that was just so sad i dont think they should have kept her she could have been  adopited by a loving family who wouldnt have bit her or have sex with her or throw her up to hit the celine and then let her fall and hit the floor oh man these stories just break my heart and to think this is only a tiny fraction of what is really going  on everywhere and these child severeses are taken kids away from parents who love and treat their kids good but yet they let these poor little babys like kelesy and 5 month brianna

A life for a life! How dare he still be alive while that beautiful little girl is not and get out in 25.5 years that to me is just a slap on the wrist for a herendous crime. Also how could this child be released back into the mothers care when all of the incidents happened in her care like the two broken legs Seriously anyone who has children let alone babies it would have to be a pretty bad accident to do this sort of damage.

There needs to be more people who stay at home take on fostering children to help prevent this happening. there is such a lack of safe places for these children that they egt released back to the abuser time after time. PLEASE PROTECT OUR BABIES!!!!!!

I agree! There is no possible reason to abuse anyone much less a precious helpless child such as Kelsey. I have seen this before and I pray for her father and anyone else who has lost a child at the hand of another.

It should be mandatory that anyone who murders a child (whether they meant to, or not) should receive life in prison without parole!!

I don't know how no onw in the family caught this. My heart goes out to her and her dad. Unfortunatly she is NOT the only one who's either suffered or died at the hands of a "loved" one. We must unite to make child abuse stop.

I saw a video similar to this one..same little girl, same story, same family. it makes me sick to know that there are people out there who would deliberately wanna hurt such a small child. the mother has alot of nerve to say that the abuser was unknown.there's no way she didn't know what was going on..in my opinion, they both should have gotten life in prison..not just 30 and 27 years.RIP baby Kelsey..=(

This is such a sad situation and, in my pediatric office, we see way to many cases of abuse- not just bruises but broken bones. The state of OK has so many children in foster care who go home early because of a lack of foster parents, lack of shelter, etc. -such a sad situation played over and over.
