Hello: I have just moved to Winnipeg from Nova Scotia. I live in Westwood and I have a 20 month girl am due with my second child (gender unknown) on Halloween. I am looking for play dates or just human contact. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Don't know if you guys have gotten to know winnipeg well yet...but I love to take my Little One on walks at the forks its nice and spacious to move around indoors and out! he is only 6.5 months but he loves to look at everything!

I'm technically in St. James. Just passed really in the Westwood area. The YMCA has a great mon-fri. preschool play program.

hey guys so one great thing in wpg is theres lots of free play groups around as well as oes you pay for its a great way too meet other moms and for you kid too have a great time.....if you call 1800 o canada they can give you a number to your local public health nurse and she will be able too give you every play group in your area or all over winnipeg

Im also new to winnipeg from edmonton. I have a 1yr old daughter. Im looking for chances to get outta the house.. have you found any suggestions? I'd love to here them :) add me if you lik on your cirlce of mom list.. anyone really :)

Hi Emily - Although orignally from Winnipeg - my husband I just were posted to Portage la Prairie from Halifax - How are you enjoying it here? Where abouts in NS were you?
We (my daughter almost 3 and son 10 months) on occassion come to Winnipeg for playdates and always welcome playdates out this way. Katie
