Hi my name is Amanda and i have 3 children twin daughters that will be three in march and a 4 month old son. I moved to winnipeg a few yesrs ago and have not met anyone, and am looking for other moms that are around the same age as me (23) to get together with. I love being a mom but it is getting to be very lonely when the only contact i have all day is with my children.

hey i just wanted to say i am planning on coming to that play group but none of my kids are up yet. depending on what time they get up will determine if i can make it down there or not cause it will be like a half hr to 45 min drive in addition to getting them dressed and ready.

aim for ten, cause there is NO way I'll be there at nine! Also, you might want to bring a snack and a drink for them. There is vending machines there too, but I like my own snacks.

Ok sounds cool. I will try to meet you out there on thurs. I may not be there right at 9 because it gets difficult getting 2 3 year olds going sometimes.

This YMCA has something called Preschool Playtime. they have a bouncy castle and stuff to play with in the gym. I call it baby chaos. Also there is play structure they can play on. It's 3550 Portage Avenue. As for cost I think it's $4/ kid (baby's are probably free) and I'm not sure if you have to pay as it's just the kids going. Here is the phone number if you want to call: 889.8052. The playtime is from 9-12.

I just looked up where transcona is and you are on the opposite side of the city! I wish I had a license and then we could meet halfway, but if you are willing to come out this way!

I'm in the Westwood area. St. James? I don't have a license unfortunately (or stupidly). There is the YMCA out here that's great for toddlers, if you are interested we could meet there! I'm 31, please don't tell me that's too old!!

Where in Winnipeg are you? I've been here five months and have a 2 year old girl and 3 month old son. I'm not that close to your age (31) so I'm not sure if that's a big deal. I hear ya on the lonely bit!
