I am a Noah's Ark Animal Workshop party leader. I mostly conduct workshops for children's birthday parties, school events, daycare facilities, girl scouts, senior citizens, fundraisers, etc. Participants get to hand stuff their very own cuddly animal, dress it, accessorize it, wish on a rainbow star, and complete a birth certificate. It is similar to the build your own animal located in the mall, but you travel to your customer and work out of your home. I am a former school teacher and now stay home with my children. (My son is 14 months and I am expecting a girl in May) This fits right in with my skills as a teacher and as a mother. If you enjoy working with people, mostly children, then please check out my website. Noah's Ark is set up similar to the other direct sales business opportunities you mentioned (Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc.) but it is still in the groundfloor stages and was founded by a very nice family located in Chicago. Start-up costs begin at $129. Despite the economy woes of late, I have been pleasantly surprised that I still keep a busy calendar. Most people call me for workshops. The hardest part of my job is simply letting people know that my services even exist! My website is www.barattabears.com.

I love what I do!!!  I make really great income for my time and have complete flexibilty.  I also get to help other women feel good about themselves and change their financial situations.  My company's values are to put God 1st, Family 2nd, and Career 3rd.

I never thought I would enjoy being a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, especially since I had a college degree, no sales experience, and no cosmetic experience.  When I started with MK my husband was in Dental School, I had a 4 month old baby, and worked in research 50-60 hours a week.  Once I had my second son I decided to take them out of daycare, quit my job and become a SAHM/ Work from Home Mom.  I had no problem replacing my income and even earned a FREE CAR!

I am expecting my third baby boy any day now.  My other two boys are age 3.5 and 2.  Mary Kay is great because even when I am at home with my new baby the reorders will continue to come in and so will my commission checks.

Please check out my website or call me anytime: www.marykay.com/kellyfallert

If you already have a MK Consultant give her a call and she would also be glad to talk with you.

Best Regards,

Kelly

Wow, you have gotten a lot of replies with a lot of different opportunities. The key is definately find the one that works for you and your family. We are with a company call the National Companies. We are not in the business of products, we are in the business of saving people money with the option to make money if they chose. I am not a salesperson so I won't go into a long explanation, but if you want check out our website www.bign.com/bbrunner and if it sounds interesting at all then let me know and I can get you more information. Good luck in your search and hope you find the one that you can really love. Briana

What do you enjoy doing? I have been working out of my home for 4 and a half years making calls for a well-known charity for household discards. However, because of the economy, they have had to reduce the number of people that they currently have working for them. Fortunately, I am not one of them, but I have been forced to reduce my work load. I am also involved with a networking company. If you can afford $14/month, this might be a good fit for you. Feel free to check out my husbands' website at http://www.altryon.jerkydirect.com

I am starting up my own dressmaking business from home, I have been sewing for 20 years and now I am formalising my skills and adding to them with a distance learning course. I have my first client coming around for a fitting tomorrow. You could try something like that, do you have any skills that you can utilise from home?

SCENTSY!  I recently became a Scentsy consultant and I am absolutely thrilled that I can work whenever I want! It's FUN, too. I get to have girlfriends over, other moms, teachers, whoever, and let them smell the WONDERFUL scents, then they fall in love and WANT to buy it. You don't have to have a party, either... You can just drop off catalogs at places you frequent, doctor's offices, grocery stores, wherever! They give you your own website and the starter kit contains everything you need. I don't have to push it on anyone and the prices are SO reasonable! If you are interested in setting your own hours, please visit my website at: www.scentsy.com/amybetterton and check it out. All of the info is there, as well. Another great thing is that even allergic people can use Scentsy. Also, there is no flame or too much heat. It will never burn any child who may come in contact with it and like I said, the scents are HEAVENLY! Please take the time to check it out! It is definitely worth it!

I know there are so many options out there for working from home.  However, most of those options involve working for a company...not working for yourself.  If you are looking for something that is purely YOUR business where you can work at your own pace, your own hours, etc, have you ever thought about becoming an internet marketer?  No, you don't need to be a computer whiz or know everything about technical design to become one.  In case you aren't familiar with it, here's a high level overview:

1. As an Internet marketer it is your job to send people (create traffic) to company websites.

2. When those people make purchases you are paid from the company who owns the product. There are literally 100,000's of companies online who are willing to pay you up to 90% of the entire product sale price just for sending people to their site.

3.  Each pay period you will receive a check in the mail that you take to your bank and deposit (or cash). Some companies will pay you directly to your Paypal account, or even directly to your bank account via wire transfer.

Making money on the Internet is not a get rich overnight scheme. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it!  So, what it comes down to is you have to learn the proper internet marketing techniques in order to succeed. If you are willing to put in the time to learn, this can be a VERY profitable business.  I did ALOT of searches on this topic and finally found a website that can teach you the techniques you need.  It's called Wealthy Affiliate.  They give you step by step instruction on how to get started as well as have continuous online support through forums, email etc. You have to sign up as a member of the site, and there is small monthly fee to continue your membership.  HOWEVER, because they provide so much for you on the site for free, such as free web hosting, a free web site builder, etc, that is really the only amount you have to pay...you won't need to come up with "start-up money" for your business.

Here's a link for you to take a look at it:

http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com?a_aid=He...

Hopefully this information helps you or at the very least, gave you another idea to look into.  Let me know if you have any questions and good luck! :)

Hi ,

I don't know if you've found what you are looking for yet. I am a Director with The Pampered Chef. With direct sales like the Pampered Chef - you get the benefit of setting your own hours. You decide when you want to earn some extra - or to spend more time with the family. It is all up to you.

There are many different choices out there. You need to look carefully into what is right for you. Be careful on this site and in others. You don't want to sign up for something because THEY want you to. It has to be something what YOU want and what is truly best for you.

What do you enjoy doing? Is there a direct sales company out there that you particularly enjoy their products? Do they have a good warranty? Keep up with technology and trends? What kind of compensation to they offer? What do you get paid and how much do you have to work? Some companies require an inventory. I find it better not to have to worry about that. I prefer to have the products shipped directly to the company. I didn't want to mess with having to reinvest all my money into my business to build up inventory and always worry about having things on hand.

With the economy the way that it is - it is important to look at the necessity. Try to pick something that isn't as much of a luxury. Think about what it is that you can offer the consumer. It should be something you believe in.

Make sure you sign under a leader who will back you and be supportive. It is important that they should match your efforts with their time and attention. Your success should be their priority and not as much theirs.

A short promo on The Pampered Chef is that we earn an average of $100+ per kitchen show. We do hands on demos now so you don't have to stand up in front of people and talk for an hour. Our parties are fun and educational. We recently launched our new economy cooking recipes. In this day and age we're all looking for quick, easy, cheap recipes. Our recipes take around 29 minutes or less and are only about $2 or less a serving! I love being able to teach people how to save time and money. Our products have great guarantee's and are a true investment. New products coming out all the time. Plus when everyone is getting laid off - we all just got raises with our brand new career plan that no one can match! I have found great success with the Pampered Chef and I just love it! We now even have the opportunity to earn a car!! I'd love to tell you more if you're interested. Please email me at donatskitchen@gmail.com. I'll answer any questions that you'd like to help you with making the best decision for you to stay at home and still earn a fabulous income!! Even if your decision ends up not being with The Pampered Chef, I'm still willing to help. .

Good luck!

Rachel

I know it is hard to decipher the real genuine opportunities from the hundreds of scams out there. Trust me I have tried many! Let me just say that what I am talking about isn't a job where you have a boss hounding over you because you are your own boss and you will have people there for you if you have questions or concerns! I have been married for 11 years now my husband and I are in our early 30's and we have three girls..ages 10, 7, and 4. Not to long ago, we came across an opportunity of a lifetime and are so thankful that we enjoy helping others learn about it too. For us this is going to be a financially stability which is very important especially with today's economy. This opportunity comes from a company that has been around for 50years, is debt free, and sold over $2 billion worth of products last year. It believes word of mouth is the best form of advertising. If you can talk to people, you can do this. I will gladly give you all the details so you have a better understanding..no strings attached. Just email me at hunterjaylyn@yahoo.com and let me give you the chance to see this wonderful opportunity of a lifetime!

Hi, my name is Heather and I am a mother of two (7 and 3). I sell Avon and Tupperware from home and I have had great success with both. If start-up money is an issue, Avon is a better choice - it's only $10 to start! Tupperware is more money and quicker but $79 to start. If you want more information, you can e-mail me at hdrayton07@optonline or visit either of my websites.

Hi Kathy!

Have you found anything yet? I, too, have tried a couple of at-home jobs but they didn't really seem to work for me. I am now working with a great Wellness Company that I KNOW works and I just want to tell everyone about it. We do not do any sells, no inventory, no deliveries, etc. I would love to show you an online presentation if you're interested in seeing the details about the company.

Have you found anything that has peaked your interest?  Do you burn scented candles?  Who do you know that burns scented candles?  We offer a natural alternative wax candle that is practically soot free, burns longer than other candles, spills clean up with warm soapy water and you get the same great fragrance from the top to the BOTTOM.  Yes these candles burn to the bottom with no wasted wax on the side of the jar.  You can work this business through retail, fundraising for fast cash and building a team of other distributors for long term income.  If you are interested, please visit my website www.miabellacandlebizonline.com

I work from home and I wouldn't do anything else. I love what I do and I think that's the key. You have to find something taht you love and can be passionate about.

Stayin' Home and Lovin' it! is a team of great business mentors, dedicated to helping you reach your financial goals. Most of them are Stay at home moms, many who have left corporate America to spend more quality time with their families...some draw part time income, and some draw 6-figure incomes. But all of us are at your disposal for FREE mentoring.

In a nutshell, (and I hate doing this because it's a bit like trying to sell a used car with only a Polaroid snapshot to go by. LOL! )...we're accounts specialist. We set up accounts for the company we work for when people decide they'd like to use their products. However, I don't sell their products, collect money, or do parties.

Honestly, the best way to explain what we do, is to actually show you...it's the reason we try and visit by telephone or LIVE webcast. I could certainly spend an hour typing three pages worth of information sharing the details...but you'd be left with questions. Or worse, I could leave you with misconceptions, which would be bad for both of us. I don't want to leave you with any questions. You want to know if this is legitimatn, meets your needs, can really make you money, and what's required of you. And providing you with the information by phone, not only allows you to get your questions answered, it allows you to get to know me better. Which is important if you're going to allow me to help you build some financial freedom. I'm not a "recruiter" or "distributor" and you wouldn't be either...I'm a business mentor and part of our amazing support team.

So all we need to do is set up a good time to show you how this works. NO tricks! NO pressure...just a demonstration.

Ive got a few openings on Monday at either 10am or 7pm mountain. Which time works best for you?

Looking forward to helping you soon!
