I have my own business and work from home and I love it!! I started about 6 months ago and am so glad I did! Working from home is great for stay at home moms. There are few places where you can find work from home jobs. http://www.workathomedesk.com is great place with long list of legit companies offering work from home jobs. This site also post new work from home jobs every day.

OMG! WOW ladies calm down!

My advice to anyone who is wanting to work from home is 1st you need to think about what you want. Do you want to a business or do you want a job? Do you want to do X amount of work and get paid X amount of money? If so I would look for a work at home job (aka telecommute). If that's what you are thinking about then I'll suggest the same web sites that Lisa Dargie suggested earlier. From my experience www.workplacelikehome.com has been more helpful and the people there just friendlier. But www.wahm.com has a lot of good information too. There is a lot of different things out there and it may take a while to find something that is a right fit for you.

Both are message boards with leads and loads of information for working from home. These are companies that you can work for or become an independent contractor for, and not direct selling such as Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Melaleuca, etc. You can work from home taking calls or doing data entry. I've been working from home for 5 + years, and also run by own business. Good luck. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I would love to help you :)
