I am not a salesperson so I do not wish to host parties, go door to door, or sell anything and I have no money to start up a business. I don't know where to begin. I only have office skills. There are so many things out there, I don't know how to find what is legitimate and right for me. I've tried a few on line things but ended up getting scammed and someone trying to access my bank account and info. I am not very internet knowlegable so if anyone has any suggestions I would be ever so grateful!

The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep.org) is seeking several dynamic, results-oriented Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons for our new organization.

Are you an energetic and highly motivated self-starter? Are you talented in establishing and nurturing business relationships?

About The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep):

The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep) is the national graduate study prep program and fellowship for those seeking higher education to evoke positive change worldwide. This faith-based, national program is supported and led by Deans, Faculty, Administrators, Business Executives and Social Entrepreneurs worldwide.

We have a 3-pronged mission for our members:

• For prospectives to successfully prepare for graduate school through our programs and utilize their degrees to become positive change agents.

• For current students and alumni graduates to network and explore career opportunities at our events, serve as mentors to our prospectives, and become positive change agents as leaders within their communities.

• For Graduate Schools and Corporations to utilize the organization as a means to promote their institutions, recruit quality talent, design innovative curricula, and learn dynamic recruiting and retention methods.

Our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons will possess the necessary skills to galvanize memberships from U.S. Graduate Schools and Companies through sales copy, telephone contact, and personal campus/office visits.

Your objectives would include:

* Developing an authentic, dynamic telephone approach that "opens the door"

* Designing a high quality sales copy that produces desired results

* Visiting colleges and corporations, either in person or by phone, to build relationships and gain memberships

* Achieving weekly goals for new memberships

Colleges and corporations have 2 different options for membership with The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep). Depending upon which program you enroll them in, as an Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaison, you will receive either $200 or $500 for each school or corporate membership you sign on for us.

For example, within 1 University, there may be 5 'colleges'. If each of those colleges signed the lower tier membership, you would receive $200 for each membership = $1,000. And that is only within 1 University! In the same example, if those 5 colleges chose the higher tier membership, you would receive $500 for each membership = $2,500! Your financial possibilities are endless!

We are looking for an individual with the following skills:

* Excellent communication skills

* Positive, dynamic, and natural personality

* Self-motivation with a "can-do" attitude

* Enjoys accountability and producing results

* Personal confidence, yet maintains a humble, authentic "sales pitch"

* A sales pitch that doesn't sound like a typical "sales pitch"; should be trusting and conversational in tone

* Excellent time management skills

Our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons will be able to work from home. You have the option to obtain client memberships by using effective sales copy, emails, and phone calls, and we also recommend visiting the colleges/corporations in your area. You must have excellent verbal and written English skills. You must feel comfortable within collegiate and corporate environments. We need someone who can embrace the challenge of a start-up organization. We will begin this role as a Summer project, approximately 10-25 hours per week, ending in September. However, if you are successful, this will lead to an ongoing contract with us.

If you are interested in applying for our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaison role, please submit a cover letter and resume, no later than Friday, May 15, 2009 to contactus@gradprep.org.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Kristy!

Yes I understand with everything else how hard it is looking for legit work at home. I have been a stay at home mom for about 7 yrs and I too started out looking for a work at home job. I found several differnt site some that wanted you to pay for their job boards, And some I did just that. Only to find out I would be making 7 to 8 dollars an hour (on top of trying to keep a 3 yr old and 4yr old quite for 3 to 4 hours) Of course these companies don't want the people calling to know that you are infact at home.

So I then started to take a different approach, I started looking into work at home business. I too not a sell person at all. Found tons of information and business out there. What I did in decideing was to make a list of thing I would do and a list of things that I would never do. That's when I found this great company. It has truly been a God sent. Now if you are serious about working from home I would get my list statred. And go for it Also listen to this call this business has truly changed or family( and still changing) I would like you to give me a honest opion of what you think even if you think this is not for you. 1-800-514-1258

Thanks in advance,
Patrice

P.S hope you find what you are looking for

I'm not a sales person, either. I work at home doing medical transcription for the local hospital and a doctor's office. I went to a Scentsy party hosted by a mom of a girl on my daughter's basketball team. I loved the product, placed an order and now am a consultant. You'd be surprised. I leave catalogs where I go, the doctor's office, dentist's offices, etc. People can't wait to see what next month's scent is and actually like it when I bring it to them! Check it out at: http://www.scentsy.com/amybetterton

Consultants earn 20% of their sales!

Kristy-Lynn, I started using Jafra Cosmetics for my own personal use. After awhile my friends and family started to notice. They of course wanted to use what I was because of the wonderful results.

That is how my business started. It snowballed and now I am a manager. I don't hold parties or go to meetings. I am not internet sauvy but I get around it enough to keep my business growing. My start up cost was and is minimal and there are no monthly minimums.

All training is given to you with your case and conference calls, if you choose to be on them. Commission is one of the best in the business too.

If this sounds like something you would like to know more about please contact me @ 330-416-0725,

If you would like to look over my website feel free. www.myjafra.com/JBRODY or email me at jbjafra@aol.com

Thanks for listening and good luck with your venture!

There's a New York Stock Exchange company that pays big money for referrals, which you can do part-time from home. This is all I've done for the last decade, and I've made a lot of money doing it. There IS a small investment (as low as $49), because it's a business and not a job, but pretty much all legitimate "work from home" opportunities will require an investment. Do your research to find a product/service that makes sense (and you'd buy even without the business opportunity attached), and that you believe in so much you'd share it with others for free anyway. If you don't need inventory, that would be a bonus, If you don't have to qualify on a monthly basis to get paid, that'd be a huge bonus, because you could actually do it part-time on your own hours, and not end up having to buy more wholesale products to compensate for not "qualifying", which is how most programs are set up.

Other than home business, true work from home jobs are few and far between. You mentioned office skills...perhaps doing freelance work as a typist? Either way, you're going to have to sell - you'll either be selling yourself (the skills you have, and why someone should pay you for your skills) or you'll be selling a product or service of some sort.

If you're interested in learning about how I get paid every day, watch the movie at www.pro-lifestyle.com. Hope this has been helpful.

I have been working from home for 3 years now. I am a remote call center agent. All you need is a computer, a quiet place to work, a voip phone with a headset. There is no selling involved. You can answer incoming calls for a pizza company, an emergency roadside assistance company, an electric or gas company. My website has a short presentation on it http://www.xchangejobs.com/tinglis

I work from home with a great company that has been around for 24 years and with the better business bureau. What is so great about what I do is that there’s no large investment, no stocking/delivery of products like Mary Kay, Avon, etc., and there is no selling! I simply help others save money, live green and earn an extra income. While this isn't a "get rich quick" type thing, the money can be great if you are motivated and dedicated to making your own business work! I'd love to share it with you! Just request more info. at my site www.familiesrok.com and I can share everything with you over an appointment. I got started for less than $30 and you can too!

I totally know how you feel!! I felt the same way a few months ago, I have 3 young children & daycare is not an option. I prayed hard that God would show me what was the best answer to our problem, thats when it found me!! I am now working from home around my own schedule building a residual income. The best thing is I don't have to have excellent computer skills, host parties, or keep up with any inventory!!! Let me know if you want more information.

HI Kristie-Lynn! I am not a salesperson, either, and I didn't want to do anything that was out of my comfort zone (like parties!). I've found a simple work at home job that works around my homeschooling/family life, and I feel good about doing it! It is easy to get started (i.e., you don't need a chunk of money) and you will have lots of support to reach whatever goals you set!

You can call me at home - I'd love to share this opportunity with you! Leave a message if there's no answer, because we are schooling and so I sometimes don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I will call you back! 541-445-2811

Best wishes
