hello all,
is there any work at home opportunity from any of you guys for a mother in west Africa? Nigeria to be precise? a work at home or a business? i am interested in any of these pls! i have to beautiful girls, i'l love to stay home with them to share in their growing years.
And if per- adventure you have a company moving down here in not too long a future; well i have a degree in Human resources and i'll really appreciate an opportunity to be able to contribute financially and to be financially independent.

There is a company called Live Ops that hires call center reps to work from home http://www.liveops.com and there is also a company called Flex Jobs that helps people find telecommuting and freelance jobs from home http://flexjobs.com. It sounds like from your post that you are not looking for a business of your own but a work from home job. MLM's are not scams, it's important to know that. I have a very successful business that has allowed me to earn an income from home after I got laid off in January but network marketing is not for everyone and that is okay.

A work from home job will be no different than working outside of the home for someone else. You will have a boss, set hours and earn a small hourly wage. You will not accomplish financial freedom or the freedom to be your own boss. The network marketing industry is a beautiful industry to be a part of. You just have to find the right business for you. Starting your own business WILL require an investment as you are investing in YOU, in YOUR success. That does not make it a scam. Now on the other hand, working for someone else should never cost money so if you are trying to be hired for a JOB and money is required then yes, I would be leary of that.

I just wanted to clarify the difference between a job and a business that is worked out of the home so that you know that MLM's are not scams. That is a huge misconception in the industry.

Cheryl G. what are your strong points in the business world?
What is your vision? Any business you get into, beit, working for someone on the outside or at home takes 3 to 5 years to build. Even franchisers take about 5 years to build a great business. Don't get into a home business if you might be desparate for money. All businesses call for somekind of investment. What is your bottom line to start an at home business. Do you want to carry products at your home? Do you want have the ease of a click type business? Like you order they deliver? Building a business of any type requires alot of hard work and a small investment. Would love to give you some ideas, but need to know more specifics. What typ of person are you. I also work from home and do my own business with my 2 young kids right beside me. I work with a team of people and we are not MLM. Very little investment upfront and we don't sell anything! Yep I was talking about a job not a business. Home Businesses certainly help people build incredible wealth...jobs can't do that! The owner of the company builds that wealth lol :)

Eloise, I am just curious, are you with a company where you build a business or are you working for a company where you are freelancing for someone else, like virtual assistant, call center rep, medical billing? There is a huge difference between a job and a business and I know of no JOB that will allow someone to make millions. It sounds like you are with a busines opportunity which is not a job.

I have to disagree (sorry) with what you said about a work at home job NEVER helping to build wealth. The company I am with have made so many millionaires, who not only retire their husbands, pay for their parents care, new cars, and give so much to charity. Perhaps the companies you have worked with are not the right ones??!! If you want any info please let me know....

What April said is SUPER helpful :) A good way to see what you need/want to do as far as working at home is to examine your goals that you have for you and your family.

For example, if you have goals of buying a home, retiring your husband, getting a new car, getting out of debt etc. a work at home job will NEVER help you do that (that is unless you have a special talent or degree where you are employed by a company and they allow you to work from home and pay you nicely).

A work at home job will help you cover a couple bills which of course is always good, but if you are looking for more there are many home business opportunities that are completely legit.

I'm in Az and am a home maker myself also w/ 2 young boys ages 19 mo's and 31 mo's. They're 1 ry apart in age and since I was not about to go back to work for VARIOUS reasons w/ a friends help I became an UnFranchise Owner/ Independant Distributor.
