Hi Brittany!
If you are serious about working from home let me know. I first ask that you have a idea of what you will and will not do. I also want to share with you the difference between a work at home JOB and a work from home business. Now most people want to work from home(it's ideal) However finding a company is perrty intresting and when you have found a company, It's true you get to pick your work schedule which is usally a three to four hour block.(now if you can keep your kids quite for that long give some of us other moms some pointer LoL) These companies don't want the peple calling in to know that you are in fact working from home. No to metion ONLY getting paid $7-$8 an hour.

Now let me share with you a home based business and what it consists of. A home business gives YOU the FREEDOM to set your own schedule. People know that we are working from home as they are trying to do the same(ofcourse) So your not sticking your kids in daycare or in a room some where to try to keep them quite(AS if that would ever happen). You also don't need any special degrees etc, It's not corporate America there's no one standing over your shoulder and telling you your ONLY worth this amont an hour. Anyone from any alk of life can be successful as long as they are deligete and consitent.If you can see yourself being commited to 2- 4yrs while building financial freedom for your family, And not wanting to have some one else around for your kids firsts(walk,crawl,teeth,crissis etc..) I agree with several of the replies that you have to find something that you are passionate about. For me that was Usborne Books. I have been with the company for almost 4 years. I found that I love getting books for my children and helping others families get awesome books for their own children. I have also worked with schools, libraries, charities, and businesses. Spreading literacy is a powerful thing!

I read that you are looking for very little start up costs. Usborne has a different starter kit each month, sometimes as little as $25 (usually always under $50) and in that you get over $100 in books, website, and all other business items. There are not any monthly minimums, so you can work when it fits into your family's schedule.

Yes I understand with everything else how hard it is looking for legit work at home. I have been a stay at home mom for about 7 yrs and I too started out looking for a work at home job. I found several differnt site some that wanted you to pay for their job boards, And some I did just that. Only to find out I would be making 7 to 8 dollars an hour (on top of trying to keep a 3 yr old and 4yr old quite for 3 to 4 hours) Of course these companies don't want the people calling to know that you are infact at home.

So I then started to take a different approach, I started looking into work at home business. I too not a sell person at all. Found tons of information and business out there. What I did in decideing was to make a list of thing I would do and a list of things that I would never do. That's when I found this great company. It has truly been a God sent. Now if you are serious about working from home I would get my list statred. Since you have experience as a dog groomer and massage therapist, have you considered turning one of those skills into a home based business? If you enjoy doing one of those, I'd say work with what you have.

I have a great team to support me, though. Are you a part of a team that can provide you with some guidance as to how to successfully work your business? Wow!

Little did you know what a number of replies you would get. Well Britney, I will also offer you information on my business. I am a mother of 2, 4 year old little boy, and 2 month old little boy. I am working for a great product broker company. I started this because I wanted to raise my children myself, not a daycare, but didn’t want to raise them in poverty, or have them want for anything. Trust me I am not spoiling my kids, but I want them to learn about the world by really living in it; not read about it!



My company works in over 10 multi billion dollar markets, but I choose to specialize in Wellness. It sounds like with "some massage therapy" you might be interested in that division too, although we do have a Pet division also. Here is what I think you need to know

1. We are based on a franchise. A,B,C,D,E,F - get a check! We have a system that tells you what to do, when to do it, and my favorite exactly how to do it every step of the way.

2. We are a product broker. That means we don't make any of our own products, but find a manufacturer to create our exclusive products at a great price. We are then free to move in the changing markets without having to push products that are no longer selling.

3. This is not a MLM. I thought it might be a first, but the more i investigated this business the more I realized it was just the opposite of an MLM.

4. A regular person can do this job! Our CEO based the sales quotas and commission plan on what the average person can do. He worked for the Direct Sales Association, so he found out what the averages were for every other company out there. Not what the companies wanted them to be, but what the average every distributor did.



That is a lot of information; probably too much. But I guess the question is, “Is there any reason you wouldn’t want to get more information about this?”

There are a lot of companies on the internet - some good, some bad. And as mentioned by Christina it is not get rich quick - this does take work and there is a learning curve involved. In my opinion, the best thing is to find what you are passionate about and what interests you. That will make it much easier for you if you love what you are doing and believe in the products.

My question for you is...are you following the steps given to you to build a successful business (making appointments and enrolling customers). Are you duplicating what you learn? Are you advertising your website online everyday??

or are you expecting to be paid with very little work a day??

Hi Brittany!

I know there are so many options out there for working from home.  However, most of those options involve working for a company...not working for yourself.  And as we all know, many of those are schemes, they are not legitimate businesses.  If you are looking for something that is purely YOUR business where you can work at your own pace, your own hours, etc, have you ever thought about becoming an internet marketer?  No, you don't need to be a computer whiz or know everything about technical design to become one.  In case you aren't familiar with it, here's a high level overview:

1. As an Internet marketer it is your job to send people (create traffic) to company websites.

2. When those people make purchases you are paid from the company who owns the product. There are literally 100,000's of companies online who are willing to pay you up to 90% of the entire product sale price just for sending people to their site.

3.  Each pay period you will receive a check in the mail that you take to your bank and deposit (or cash). Some companies will pay you directly to your Paypal account, or even directly to your bank account via wire transfer.

Making money on the Internet is not a get rich overnight scheme. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it!  So, what it comes down to is you have to learn the proper internet marketing techniques in order to succeed. If you are willing to put in the time to learn, this can be a VERY profitable business.  I did ALOT of searches on this topic and finally found a website that can teach you the techniques you need.  It's called Wealthy Affiliate.  They give you step by step instruction on how to get started as well as have continuous online support through forums, email etc. You have to sign up as a member of the site, and there is small monthly fee ($39) to continue your membership.  HOWEVER, because they provide so much for you on the site for free, such as free web hosting, a free web site builder, etc, that is really the only amount you have to pay...you won't need to come up with "start-up money" for your business. And, it's not like you have to continue membership with them permanently, you could always sign up for 2-3 months, learn what you need to learn, then cancel your membership, there is nothing contractual.  At least the Wealthy Affiliate site can teach you what you need in order to maintain your own internet marketing site.

Just to clarify, you do NOT have to sell anything…nor do you have to ‘recruit anyone underneath you’ to make a profit.  Your primary purpose is to drive traffic to vendor sites.  Hopefully this information helps you or at the very least, gave you another idea to look into.  Let me know if you have any questions and good luck! :)

I am a Noah's Ark Animal Workshop party leader. You might be interested in what I do as I know many other party leaders that have spouses in the military that move frequently and are able to travel with this business.
