I am 14 weeks preg. I had to move an hour away from the job I had where I was making no money, 7.80 an hour doesn't go very far when you only work a few hours a week. Now applying for jobs I feel like I'm just being looked over because in 6 months I'm going to need to take time off, and it doesn't give me a place to explain why. Besides that I don't want to go back to work after my baby is born because I do not want him or her in daycare, I want to raise my child I do not want strangers or my family doing it for me. Can anyone help me?

I am looking for 5 motivated, purpose driven people this month who I can train to build an International business like I have from home.
I am with an 18 year old global home-based business in the exploding industry which has over 1 million associates & growing, 70 patents, easy duplicable system in 20 countries including USA & Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, no deliveries, work around your own families commitments, full training, travel holiday incentives to be won, a rewarding business that makes a difference in other people's lives.... As well as your own.
I began this business 14 yrs ago when my disabled daughter was 2 yrs old and had very little money.

This might be for you, this might not be for you, but it is a very legitmate home based business. You can easily make the type of money you are looking for here. I work from home, I am totally self sufficient, we build together as a team, the teams success is my success. I am involved with a very legitimate home based business. The owner of our company has taken 6 other businesses to well over a billion $'s. Sure you will have heard of Gitano Sportswear, Jordache, Lucchese Boots, Fruit of the Loom, Christian Dior, BVD's. This company is in a recession proof industry, and predications are that it will experience a 500% growth rate over the next 4 years. Currently $100 billion $'s are already spent annually in the US, and that growth rate is anticipated to grow to $500 billion over the next 4 years. Take a look at the webinar, and see if it interests you. Thanks, Debra Hardy

Would love to show you a company that will you allow you to work from home in your spare time. As a busy mother of two, I know how hard it is. You will never have to sell anything to anyone. Just show people a webcast and if they like what they see, they sign up. That is it. If you are interested, would love to show you a webcast that explains it all in detail. You will be able to watch it from they comfort of your home at times that work for you. Then if you like what you see, we could chat. Sincerely, Terra

Cristine, Roz is so right in you need to evaluate what you need in a job, and whether it will fit in your life. You do need to find something you are passionate about. AND, know that working at home does not mean you do not have to work to make money. You have to have disapline and know that you are the Boss and would you fire you if the work is not done!
If you do go into Direct Sales, find something that is consumable, which means that people try, buy, use and order some more. That way it is easier to have a client base that you can depend on and not have to go out looking all of the time for new clients in order to sell!
I love it, I was in a bad accident a month ago, cannot even drive yet, let alone go out and do my job, yet had a $107 day yesterday of which I make 50% because my clients are loyal!
Good luck in whatever you do!!!!

So have you taken the time to figure out exactly how much you need to earn each month? This is the first place to start and to decide what other things might be important to you. I am involved with Project MAHMA which stands for Moms At Home Making A....difference and a lot of money. I work from home and have been doing so for almost 4 years now. I love being able to spend more time with my family. The company that we are involved with is over 50 years old and is the #1 natural nutritional supplement company in the US. Have you heard of Shaklee? For me when I saw how I was able to stop my son's ear infection with natural products I was sold. Not to mention the green cleaning products that we offer. I have a safe environment for my children and I know that I am doing all I can to keep them healthy. Let me know if you would like to know more. Are you ready to DREAM?

Congratulations on your pregnancy. What a blessing is headed your way.
Have you ever considered Direct Sales? I have several friends who have been in your shoes and found something with the Company I am with that fit into their lifestyle, gave them the flexibility to work around their family life and they were still able to make a very good income.
I love that the Company I represent believes in Faith First, Family Second and Career Third!
If you would like to hear more, please pm me and I would be glad to share. AND, my Director has a great Special going on for anyone who starts on our Team this month. I would love to share the details!

There are many opportunities. Check them all out. See what fits your interest and passion. Depending on your skills you can create your own opportunity or find an existing one. Just be sure to check how long they have been around, check the BBB and DSA. Most people that are network marketers are going to tell you how great their company and products are, even if they are not...(maybe they are gullable maybe they just want your money) With thourough research you can find a good one. But you do need to jump in and really work hard to make it succeed. The basic formula is the same for all network marketers, so the product, training, upline and cost are all variables to check out. Like others, I am a network marketer with a company that has been in business over 50 years and was the pioneer in this business model. Everything is upfront and training is excellent and FREE. I am happy to provider more info, feel free to contact me too. Good luck with your plan...also, may i reccommend personal development...I am working through some programs myself. Also, reach Think and Grow Rich by napoleon hill. It is in public domain and can be downloaded for free so don't pay for it. It is reccommended by many.

Hey there Christina, I feel your pain! I got pregnant right after I finished my dental hygiene degree so needless to say I've never had a full time or even part time dental hygiene position.

What you need to do is evaluate whether you are looking for a job or a business, there are valuable sticky's here at the top of the group to help you determine what you want. If you are looking for a long term that will change your life for the better then look at the work at home businesses, many of the girls here have one. If you are looking for something just to help you get by then a job is what you are looking for.

Please know that if you choose a work at home business it is NOT easy. The process is simple, yes, but to get what you want out of it is a lot of hard work. But with that said though, you can have fun doing it if you find something you are passionate about :)

If you are interested in what any of us do you will need to come to us per the solicitation policy here on COM. Please let us know how we can help :)

if you want to stay at home the only thing out there for people are for you to become a day care provider in your home. Or you can take a course and do medical transfers. Or door to door things at night like party lite or that chef one. I have been doing day care in my home for nine years going on ten years now. If you want the in and out doing this in your home email me at debndan@kos.net and I will give you information you need to know aobut doing this in your home. It's not what it seems to be information you need to know before concidering this kind of work. Hope this helps.

When you're looking for a way to work from home, make sure the company/product you look into is consumable and in the health and wellness genre. Health and Wellness is booming right now. And consumable awesome products means repeat costumers=constant income.
Feel free to contact me if this makes sense to you.

oh my goodness...that is terrible what happened to your friend! I can't believe they did that!

I think a good company and a good business would be something that you could do anytime, anywhere, in any condition. The woman that brought me into this company has built her business almost entirely online. One of my upline has 3 children under the age of 5 and works this business full time and did so while pregnant as well. I have 2 children and neck and back problems that require physical therapy 3 times a week but I still am very able to do my job. We don't carry almost anything around and it is easy...so easy i still can't get over it :)

If a company wants you do something that is against your better judgement, doctors orders or just plain not good for you, they don't deserve to you have you working for them. ughh! makes me so mad that some companies think that they can push people around or push them out. my mother has so many health problems after working for and doing whatever she was told to at the factory she worked at. I don't understand why companies like that can get away with this kind of thing!
ok...enough of my rant :)
Join a company that treats you like family and is concerned for your well being...that's my advice.

Bonnie I really would like some more information on this, I'm only 20 and haven't been introduced to anything that I'd want to do forever, I was working in retail so i started going to school online for Retail Mangement, and now that i'm Preg. there are a lot of things that a company may ask you to do that you are unable to do. I have a friend that is also preg. that was working at a certain supercenter, she brought them her proof of preg. letter and asked to be transffered out of her department as she couldn't do the heavy lifting anymore and they wouldn't work with her and pretty much forced her to quit because they didn't have anything to fire her about they just made her life so awful and hard for her to do the things she needed to do to be good at her job that she quit. So I fear trying to get back into retail stores, But there is just no way My Boyfriend and I could survive on one income.

Hi Christina. What kind of work are you looking for? There are a ton of work from home businesses out there but you need to find one that you are passionate about or it won't work for you.

I work with an International greeting card company. I have been working from home since 2006 and I love it....it is my passion. It is so easy to do that a 7 yr. old could do it. Send me a message if you would like more information. You can try it for free - no obligation, I promise. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi! Oh I definately feel your pain. I was laid off from a high paying corporate job (90% of our total income) when I was 7 months pregnant! Talk about being looked over! Now, you are only 14 weeks so DON'T SAY ANYTHING about being pregnant. Don't try and hide it but it is illegal for them to ASK you about your situation. I have two kidos and I know what it is like to have to put them in daycare, it is right for some people and not right for others. There are a variety of things you can do from home. Check out www.ratracerebellion.com for postings, search craigslist and check off the telecommute box, you can go to www.liveops.com , have you checked out www.wahm.com?

I have found the best for me is working for myself in my own home business rather than be an employee, that is so important with little ones around.

Good luck!

I can. PM me. I work from home with 2 kids and love what I do. The financial freedom and the satisfaction of helping others that I can get from my career is something I never thought I would be able to have staying home. I would love to share with you about it.
