Quite a bit of legit work from home jobs are virtual call center positions. You will need a very quiet environment. These positions are jobs where you work for and are paid by companies. But if you have small children they can be very hard to maintain unless you work at night or when someone else (like hubby) can care for the kids.

www.arise.com, you work as an independent contractor. You have to have a corp id which they guide you through everything. You have to pay to be certified as an ACP than you pay for the certification for which opportunity you pick. They outsourse for sx: Sears customer service, they have tech support, Carnivale Cruise Lines, Apple etc etc..Every week you pick the hours that you are able to work as long as it follows your contract for instance if it is a min. of 15 hours and 4 on the weekend you can 2 2 sat & 2 Sun or whatever you just have to follow it tells you everything. Just go to the website and it will give you all this info.

I had one lady give me a referal to Odesk. I have not used them yet, just got registered a couple of days ago but she has been with them since March and has been very happy. I think it's a little slow starting out and the jobs won't pay a lot, just FYI until you establish yourself and build a repore with clients. But it is a legit site that hires people for all types of freelance work. If you try it out let us know what your feedback is.

Danielle, I can show you a company that you will work from home, but will never sell anything, you will never host any parties, and you will never stock any products. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Terra

Hi Danielle, what skills do you posses? What do you NOT want to do? Do you want something with 9-5 hours or something more flexible?

Danielle, most work at home jobs are home businesses. If you decide to join one just do all the background investigating first.
There are companies that offer work at home like CHACHA and WESTATHOME but there are few openings and you do have to take a test to qualify. Just don't give up. I was unemployed for 2 years and finally found a work at home biz that I love.
