Hi Kerry!

Yes I understand with everything else how hard it is looking for legit work at home. I have been a stay at home mom for about 7 yrs and I too started out looking for a work at home job. I found several differnt site some that wanted you to pay for their job boards, And some I did just that. Only to find out I would be making 7 to 8 dollars an hour (on top of trying to keep a 3 yr old and 4yr old quite for 3 to 4 hours) Of course these companies don't want the people calling to know that you are infact at home.

So I then started to take a different approach, I started looking into work at home business. I too not a sell person at all. Found tons of information and business out there. What I did in decideing was to make a list of thing I would do and a list of things that I would never do. That's when I found this great company. It has truly been a God sent. Now if you are serious about working from home I would get my list statred. And go for it Also listen to this call this business has truly changed or family( and still changing) I would like you to give me a honest opion of what you think even if you think this is not for you. 1-800-514-1258

Thanks in advance,
Patrice

P.S hope you find what you are looking for

Hey Girl! Here is some help on your search... I have included the difference between a business and a job, a list of LEGIT at home Jobs and SCAMS to look out for!

Looking for a Home Business:

This is a very REWARDING opportunity no matter if you decide to do Ameriplan (I am a Proud Business Owner with Ameriplan, it brought me home full time to my girls, let me know if you want info), At Home America, Make-up, Jewelery, etc. A Home Business usually always has a start up and a monthly overhead or requirement. It is your OWN and you never have to answer to anyone but yourself! If you find exactly what your PASSION is and what you will put your HEART and DEDICATION into, it will pay you for a LIFETIME, the Success you can have is ENDLESS! You make your own hours, work around your family and create financial freedom... which is soooo AMAZING! Just think in 2 to 4 years being able to go on vacations, and affording all those things in life you never thought you could have! A Home Business WILL do this for you, if you WORK it and you are determined to be SUCCESSFUL!

Looking for a Home JOB:

A Home JOB is a lot more difficult to find compared to a Home Business Opportunity. They are very few and far between, the ones that are out there that are LEGIT, have a waiting list and thousands or more applicants a day. It is very hard to get an At Home JOB. Now with that said, you should NEVER have to pay for an at Home JOB. They will pay you an hourly rate or base pay while working from home. Be very careful searching for an At Home JOB, and NEVER pay to work as an Employee from home. (F.Y.I. as a Home Business Owner there is an Investment, a JOB is not a Business)

Go to http://www.cafemom.com/group/37262/forum... for a List of LEGITIMATE Companies that hire employees from home as a JOB. (F.Y.I. ~ a Home Business is NOT a Job... A Home Business has a startup cost and a Home JOB should never have you pay)

SCAMS To Look Out For:

Go to http://www.cafemom.com/group/37262/forum... to review a very helpful post that lists the most Typical SCAMS, what to watch out for on your search!!!

You can also go to www.momportunity.com or www.wahm.com for advice, work at home jobs and tips. Many in there will be able to help you also!

GOOD LUCK!!! I am here if you ever need anything... You will find what you are looking for!!!!

I've worked from home since 2004 as a Customer Relationship Manager. I started at www.liveops.com taking inbound phone orders from infomercials. I'm still there but not FT. I also work www.elance.com & www.guru.com, phone marketing/prospecting for clients there. As a phone & internet worker you need to stay on your toes, watch for scams & keep enough "eggs in your basket" to sustain when 1 job falls off. My website has maybe a dozen wah forums/msg boards to study. Phones are the easiest jobs to get into because of the turnover but there are also legitimate assembly jobs. www.walbridgenterprises.bravehost.com.

I am currently on a web-site called jobsformoms.com - they have a lot of jobs, I applied for 3 and are waiting a responce. Good luck!

[deleted account]

I am a software developer. I went to school online after I had my daughter Abbi. I got a job in Dallas when I was 6 months preggers w/ Austin, after I had him and graduated I got a different job. I needed to leave my husband but couldn't afford to stay in D-town on my own, told my boss the situtation and they let me move and work from home. I still have to put the boys in daycare, constantly on meetings and what not. I don't have to put Abbi in daycare though, being in a small town I just pick her up from school myself and she does homework and watches TV and lets me work...shes been dealing w/ me doing school her whole life so shes used to it. But definitley if you want to work from home, programming for the web is the best way to go if you can stand a few years of school. Requires much drive and motivation...school and programming.

I decided when my last child was born I didn't want to do a 9-5 job anymore. I stayed home for a couple of years and now I co-own an eco-friendly website, which I love to do. If you would like to check it out go http//www.karmafarmonline.com. If you think outside the box and have a passion for what you do, you can do it anywhere.

Hi Kerry,

We live on the other side of the world in Japan on a small base, my husband is Air Force, finding work that would also work around our schedule was impossible. So naturally I looked for something I could do online.

I am an Internet, aka affiliate, Marketer. I learned all about Internet Marketing (IM) at Wealthy Affiliate. I didn't know anything about the stuff before I joined. I'm currently trying to get the word out to all moms who are looking to earn some extra money from home.

It is not a get rich quick overnight deal. So, if you have a little time to learn about how IM works there are endless opportunites and different ways you can make money online.

It is NOT a scam or MLM. You do not have to own a product to sell nor do you have to do inventory or shipping. Here are a 3 articles that I wrote about Wealthy Affiliate if you are interested and have a few minutes to read them, that way I don't have to repeat myself and explain all on here, you can decide for yourself if it's for you.

I work from home as a Travel Agent, and I love it! I get killer deals on my own travel, I get to write it off on my taxes, and it is alot of fun. My husband works from home too, and I've got to tell you, it gets somewhat crowded. He does affiliate marketing for an advertising company. It is great to have him home to help out with the kids when I'm not feeling well.
My Travel website is www.lakesidegetaways.net
and the affiliate info my husband does is http://www.HuntforaMillion.com/idevaffil...

Hey Kerry,

I am an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay.  I have three kiddos ages 4-6.  I hold classes or parties a few times a week, each usually takes about 2 hrs.  I get to have some adult time and meet some great women.  I'm my own boss, don't have any quotas and make as much as I want.  It's pretty great!  If you'd like more info I'd be happy to share.  Good luck finding your niche!

I'm a single mom, too, and have worked from home for over 10 years - never appreciating it MORE since my little guy was born 16 months ago. I market Pre Paid Legal memberships. They pay daily...which I really like. Most of my best friends (many are parents, too) were able to leave their jobs once their part-time Pre Paid Legal home business started paying them more - now they're at home, without the need to pay for daycare, and enjoying a better quality of life with their family. I love it. Check it out: www.pro-lifestyle.com =)

Hi Kerry,

I'm a SAHM of two great kids, 6yrs and 19 months.  I've been extreamly fortunate to find the most wonderful group of moms to work at home with.  When I was looking to work from home I knew I didn't want to do the normal things like, have parties (which are fun to go to, but just wasn't ideal for me to do to make money), stock inventory, collect money, resell stuff.  I came accoss this team of moms and they all had the same idea about working from home I did and that was I didn't want to leave my house to work from home, I didn't want to make any large investment to start somthing that may not work out and I wanted to find something that I absolutely love and have fun doing  and have people to do it with.  I wanted a support team to help me out.  I 100% love what I do and I can't imagine doing anything different.  If you would like to find out more detail about the team of moms I work with and what we do, you can visit my website, www.4ThisFamily.com and ask for more info through my site.  I look forward to sharing with you a very unique opportunity that I know you will love as much as I do.

All my best,

Rebecca

I have been working part time from home for 5 years and I love what I do and the fact that I can help others while doing it too. The team and company I am partnered with is amazing and really cares about helping people succeed personally as well as financially. It helps you save money as well as make money and has a simple easy to duplicate system to follow. We don't sell anything. We are not distributors and we don't have to worry taking orders or payment for anything. All we do is give people information (we don't even have to do that personally because our team does it) and set up their accounts.

If you want more info feel free to give me a call at 608-524-3441 or you can request more info from one of my websites:

www.workathomeunited.com/mybiz

or

www.livetotalwellness.com/mybiz

and I will be happy to contact you at your most convenient time.

We have partnered up with a wellness company which has been in business for over 24 years. They've been in the Inc. 500 magazine five times!  If you are serious about working from home then request more info from my webpage.   together we can get you on a positive financial road!

Hi there are several discussions here to this end.

I've continued my programming / analysis from before, and am very happy to be able to find the work as a WAHM to keep my hand in, so as to speak.
