I know how hard it is for stay home moms to not earn an income. I couldn't imagine myself, especially since I'm a teen mom, not being able to provide for my daughter but since I enjoy staying fit, I have been able to make some income out of it. I am a sahm and I have a 18 month old daughter. I work from home sending emails. You will have to dedicate at least 5-10 hours per week sending emails. Depending on how much time you put into working you can make up to $12-$24 per email sent. You decide which days you want to work which is great when you have children. Hi Christine, I had to chuckle when you mention you don't want to build anyone's pyramid. I thought the same thing also and then I started researching Direct Selling and it is amazing how many successful people (Trump, Buffett to name a couple) believe this is type of selling. Warren Buffett actually purchased Pampered Chef and states that it has been the best investment he has ever made. I think Direct Selling has received such a bad rap due to pyramid schemes (which are illegal). Also, if you think about it, how is Corporate America structured and they determine your destiny vs. working with Direct Selling and owning your own business.

Ok....let me start out by saying that I am THE MOST!!! skeptical person there is.

We have a 3 year old son and I felt like I was trading time for money at my corporate job, and now I honestly work this business maybe 8-10 hours a week and work my schedule around my family!! Hi Christine,

NOVA is going to be a difficult place to find a company that will allow you to work from home. Most companies in the D.C area that offer telecommuting are going to be very competitive. I live in MD and looked in the surrounding area's and had a really hard time even with my experience. I finally did decide to start my own home business. I work with professional minded moms and unlike everything else I came across, we don't operate like the typical home businesses like AVON, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef. Nothing against those businesses, we just don't operate anything like them.

I am very glad I made the decision I did to work with this team of moms. The income is secure and reliable for the rest of my life. Something I absolutely never had working for someone else. If you are open enough to take a look at a different route than maybe you were initially wanting to take, I'd be happy to share with you our team and how we have been successfully helping moms work from home since 1999!

I am not sure if you have posted to the right group. The majority of the women on this group are apart of Direct Sales Companies or MLM. There are some iffy ones out there, but there are also a lot of great companies as well. One of the keys to success in this type of business is finding one that fits your passion.



Do you have a linkedin account? This site is great for helping you to network and find someone in the industry that you are interested in working.
