I am a single mum with 3 kiddies and I work from home. I absolutely love my job:) Not only do I make great money but we have a really strong 'community'. I am going to suggest an actual company. I joined Heritage Makers two months ago. I found them by reading a lot!! I already loved scrapbooking, story books, family history, so I saw this was for me. I joined and have not looked back. I love what I do. The joy on people's faces when they receive a gift from Heritage Makers is all I need. Yes, I do make money, it is very fair. Hi Sara,
It's important to understand the difference between a "job" and a "business". If you are looking for a traditional job that you can do from home you can try a website called www.hiremymom.com. I do NOT have personal experience with this website, a friend of mine told me that she was looking into it. With a job, you will not have the flexibility to earn as much money as you want and since it's a job you will be required to be by a phone certain hours (like a call center) or be at your computer certain times of the day (like a virtual assistant). They pay will be minimal but if a job is what you are looking for then no, there should not be any fee that is required.

If you are open to starting your own business it will give you the flexibility to be your own boss, earn as much money as you want since you are paid by your efforts, you can work when you want and around your schedule. With any "business" there is going to be some sort of fee to get started for materials that you will need to start your business. I have posted a conversation that goes into detail of what you should look for when starting your own business. It's titled "Develop A Plan BEFORE You Start Your Business". I started a jewelry business 8 years ago and failed miserably but knew that I could build a business from home.
