Hi! What pump did you use while working? I was set on getting the PISA, but then I read about the Freestyle so now I'm confused!

Any pros and cons for these two? I'm having twins so I need all the milk I could get.

Thanks!

I have the freestyle and love it. i bought it when my daughter was born in 2009 and am using it again with my son. it's so small i sometimes throw it in my purse if i don't want to take the whole bag; or of just in case!

I bought the freestyle and it was money well spent - I pumped three times a day for the first nine months and twice a day until 12 when we just transitioned to night and morning feedings and I just loved it. I'd just bring my laptop and some work into the closet I used at work for pumping and I was good to go - you don't realize how wonderful it is to have your hands free while pumping until you forget the attachment straps at home and then have to sit there holding them for 20 minutes while your hands fall asleep!! (I bought mine online and saved over $100 from what they were selling it for in department stores. I think it was addalittlelove.com? I was able to get a lot of helpful advice from their lactation consultant too. Best of luck!

I use the pump in style and it works really well for me. I've been pumping 2-3 times a day for about three months now and I haven't had any problems. I've never tried the Freestyle, but I am very happy with the in style and I would highly recommend it.

I have not tried the freestyle but I did purchase the instyle shoulder bag. I have to say that the instyle did not really work for me. I am happy I purchase the 15month protection plan from babies r us which allows me to return it. I rented the hospital grade medela symphony pump from babies r us for 80 a month and it works much better. I can get a whole bottle from one session (usually 15 min). I don't get much letdown from the instlye (barely get 2oz). I read that the freestyle leaks but I have not personally tried it. Everyone is different but I havent head many complaints about the symphony pump so maybe u should try and see if that works for you. If you do purchase a pump see if they offer a buyer protection plan with it. good luck hope my comment help a little :)

I have the Pump in Style Advance (Metro Bag) and it works well, but if I could go back I would get the Freestyle, even though you can purchase a "hands free bra" for the PISA, which I have, the Freestyle makes u able to be mobile, and the PISA doesn't.....Just my opinion though....Good Luck, u can't go wrong with either, they're both great pumps!
