working and pumping

I start back to work tomorrow. I work 2 jobs in the food industry. A manager at one job and a cook at the other. The times that I'll need to pump will be right in the middle of our rushes so I can't leave my position to go pump. I"m barely pumping enough for my son to eat right now, so I"m worried that my milk supply will diminish even more if I can only pump a couple times a day. Any advice?

While it is best to pump on your baby's feeding schedule, it is not manadatory. My advice is pump whenever you can find a few minutes. It doesn't have to be a long pumping session, and it doesn't really matter if you wait 1 or 3 hours between pumps. As long as you pump enough to get the same (or more) number of letdowns you would get during that time if you were nursing, your supply should be okay.

Hi! Is there any way you can pump when you're not in the middle of a rush? I also had a problem pumping as much milk when I returned to work, and I started fenugreek supplements, and those really helped.
