My daughter is turning 6 in a few weeks. Since her bday is in the winter it's hard to find things to do. We are having her party at a rec center but only going to have pin the tail on the donkey lol. I really could use some more help on finding more games for tons of kids to do. Any suggestions?

If you think just having a birthday in winter or in December, but my daughter's birthday is ON Christmas day. Now let me tell you that sucks. Big time. But you could get a pinata and you could look on the internet for birthday party games for a 6yr old. That's what I do a lot of times to get ideas for both of my children's birthday parties.

IF YOU HAVE A POOL TAKE THEM THERE IF YOU CAN RENT IT OUT AND BRING IN PIZZAS AND HAVE CAKE. LET HER HAVE THREE OR FOUR STAY OVER FOR THE NIGHT AND LET THEM STAY UP AND PLAY IF THEY WANT TO FOR HER PARTY AND THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF THINGS CAN BE DONE IN WINTER, .

I have the same issue my daughter bday is in November. This year her party was also at the center here. We played musical chairs, mummy wrap ( you split the kids up in groups and they have a minute or 2 to wrap one of the team members up in tissue) and we also did the limbo. The kids had a blast. You can also play some of her favorite music and let the kids dance...
My daughter and her friends had a great time.

Have them do crafts. You can get beads or browse the aisles at your local craft or dollar store for seasonal kits - you can often find them for only $1. Or do a "make-up and nailpolish" spa day theme - have them do their own and help for the fancy stuff, clear out claires for cheap hairclips and accessories? We did a superhero party for my son and made capes from fabric and sticky felt... Browse Pinterest, there are lots more ideas out there that you can customize easy, just make sure you have a theme first.

A game I have played with large groups is "Indoor Snowball Battle" Divide group into two teams. Use masking tape to divide the room - Use two lines of masking tape separated by about 3-4 feet (so the kids cant smack someone on the other team when throwing) Team one behind the first line, team two behind second line...space in the middle is neutral. Give each team lots of newspaper, or tissue paper. Give each team three minutes to make the paper into "snowballs". Then countdown to start the snowball battle. Kids just whip the paper balls at the other side. When time is up everyone has to freeze. Then count the paper balls on each side the team with the fewest balls on their side wins. Have them throw balls into garbage can when counting.

well the kids can have a dance off ... entertainment can be paying to have a character deal with the games and the kids ! ask your child who she likes and have that character come over.

i hate this problem my daughters birthday is in DEC. how big is the rec center if it has a gym and there are enough kids you could play red rover or musical chairs or a game we used to play at school where two people are it in the middle and everyone runs from one side of the gym to the other without being tagged if your tagged your and the first two people are it and it goes until you have one person left there is red light green light mother my i
