Am I crazy for not wanting to take my child with me to work?

I work for myself, and I can not seem to get it through to my husband that I can't always take my daughter with me and I am so stuck on what to do. She is 3 and at times she doesn't listen to well and I try to do the best I can but sometimes I feel like my customers are not liking the whole situation. I sell avon so I have to go door to door, meetings, and all that and I shouldn't be expected to take her with me should I?

I'm sure she is getting too tired being with you at work! Spend a day or two with your husband and find someone trustworthy to take care of your daughter (might be a day care, or relative). Bringing her to work is difficult for both of you. Hope the situation gets better.

The key word there is "work" , for yourself or for someone else shouldn't matter. Ask your husband would he take your daughter to work with him. Would he take her on customer calls. I can probably answer that without even knowing him. No he wouldn't. Men have a weird program when it comes to kids. If you have them and watch them all day its just what you do but when they have them for some reason it is "babysitting". They should be just as responsible for the care of your child not just be the occasional babysitter.

No. Children are distracting. Some moms are able to work with them present, many are not. If he isn't working at the same time, what's wrong with her staying with Daddy?
