I go to the gym at lest 3x a week. My workout consists of zumba class, step aerobics, spinning, and the eliptical machine. When I'm done teaching afterschool and Saturday school I will extend my workout to kickboxing as well. I also teach and practice Taekwondo. The best thing you can do is join a gym because the classes are motivating and you can learn tips for excercising on your own as well and some gyms have child care.

Tony Horton....P90x, 10 minute trainer, etc. I work out in my own home during nap times and if she gets up before I am finished my oldest is a big help and he helps me out so I can finish. Following the food plan is huge thing. My daughter is almost 10 months old and I have lost all my weight. I am still working on toning up but for the most part I am extremely happy with myself. I did P90x right before I got pregnant with my 2nd child and lost like 15 lbs so I was determined that I was gonna get it back off. It surely wasn't as easy the 2nd time but staying focused is a must! Good Luck!

I work at Ford and they have an awesome, free on site gym that I go to on break. You can do sit ups at home. My 7 and 9 year old sons do them with me sometimes. You can also get some 5lb weights and do arm curls and hold them while doing leg squats. Go on walks with your kids, push ups on the living room floor is great too! Good luck and keep up the good work!

I started having the whites of boiled eggs. 4 liters of water. Half my plate no matter how large or small is filled with veggie [green beans, spinach leaves, beats, etc.] then protein and a smidge of carbs. That is until i start a work out routine...

I had twins january3. my stomach is the prob. ugh! I did loose 15 over the summer break (Im a teacher) i bought the 17 day diet book (basically dont eat carbs other than 2 fruits a day) and i walked some, but I live in texas and it was too hot even at 7 a.m for my babies and 8 year old. I kinda slacked on my eating so I havent lost more, but when i follow the diet i do loose (gotta get back on it) I used to work out a lot but now I only get 4-5 hours of noncontinuos sleep (twins get up at night for milk:) so Im hoping soon I will be back into working out and my pre-preg clothes. My goal is by their first b. day to look the same or better!! I have about 17 more lbs to go.

I began going to Curves when my second daughter was 2 months old, she was breastfeed for 6 months, which i think helped the weight come off. The first month of going i lost 35cm all round. I went from a size 14 to size 10 within 6 months, and was truely delighted to fit into my prepregnancy jeans for winter again! :D It is now 4 years on, and i'm 22 weeks pregnant with no.3, but still going to Curves 3 times a week. I'm hoping to keep this going as long as i can, and it will be interesting to see if this helps my labor?!

I walk every chance I get with the stroller. I love it, it has helped me lose my baby weight and my daughter loves it. Also I get outside as much as possible. I am 10 pounds lighter then when I got pregnant and my baby is 17 months old. Whatever you do, make it enjoyable :)
My brother is trying to loose weight and has seen a doc etc as he's a big boy. He was told that you need to walk or do cardio for more than 20 mins. i.e. your body only really starts burning fat after 20 mins of exercise. So he's doing 30 - 40 mins of walking each day. Obviously thats hard being a mum. I'd say any exercise is better than none.

WALKING!!!!! Every day for 20mins or more and/or swimming once/twice a month. I lost all 20lbs of my prego fat by doing just this. I put my kids in a wagon began pulling and walking. Take your child for a walk in the buggy for (has to be 20mins or more). If you have a tredmill; even better, while your child is napping walk on the tred for 20mins. In a months time, you will feel more energetic and revitalized plus see the results paying off- no joking but, remember if you want to loose the weight, you will have to sacrifice some time and effort into doing so. Good Luck Tanya.

I do excercises with my 2 month old. she makes good weights and she loves it. And I got all the junk out of the house and always have prepared veggies in my fridge, so if im hungry they happen to be the easiest thing to grab. No soft drinks and no extra servings of bread.
I've started registering for local fun runs. They give me something to aim for regularly and I'm not out there aiming to break records - just beat my previous times. Not that I get to run much with kids around. I do gym ball toning up workouts and skipping - something quick and easy that can be done in 30 mins while my kid is napping!!
Plus, have you ever tried skipping for very long - its RIDICULOUSLY hard!!!

When I was working full-time I went to a personal training studio to get fit and lose weight. Was also "my" time (to justify the cost!). Now working part time but still getting personal training - the motivation for going to the gym!

Weight Watchers! I love it! I do it on line because my schedule is much too hectic for meetings. I started on Valentine's Day this year and have lost a total of 26.2 lbs so far. I am still trying to squeeze moe exercise into my schedule but only have managed to be able to walk on my lunch break(30 min) and on the weekends.

I am doing Jackie Wraner's Power Circuit Training. I've tried 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and it was good cardio but not long enough and not a good muscle builder for me personally. I'm up to doing it twice a day now because I have a wedding dress to fit into in 18 days. LOL. But I've lost 26 pounds in 6 weeks just by being active and cutting down my caloric intake to about 1500 a day. Good luck. Let us know about your progress.

I'm doing Weight Watchers (I lost 75 lbs on it the first time, 15 so far this time, 15 more to go). Also, we have the P90X DVDs and I do one of them whenever I can. I find that once I start a workout, it's not too hard to do one for the full hour, so I might as well do a serious workout instead of a whimpy one.

Walking! I've lost all my baby weight(all 55lbs of it-mostly water retention) by walking and definitely not eating all the junk I was craving while pregnant. It took me 16 months, but I can fit into my pre-pregnancy size three jeans!! good luck!
