I agree with the oatmeal bath however my mom also put a little baking soda in the water. This helped dry up any of the open pox so they wouldn't spread. Don't let them scratch or it will keep spreading.

When my daughter had chicken pox at 15 months, doc told us to do oatmeal baths so the breakout would occur faster, then we put calamine lotion all over her and keep under benadryl so she would sleep more than be up running around.

oatmeal baths (you can find these in the health and beauty of any walmart i believe aveeno makes them) lots of calomine lotion and socks over the haands to prevent scratching and scaring

my mom gave us an oatmeal bath ehen we were itching when we got the pox it helped alot!

Yes warm salt bath sooths and piriton then calomine lotion but baths stop the itching

Hi Tania, the best thing for the itching is Calamine lotion. Also, keep her skin as dry as possible as moisture makes the itching worse. Hope this helps, good luck!
