I let my son run around with his pants off. You have to keep a close eye on him, and be prepared for some messes. Then you can see when he's ready to go, and he is more aware of him going. When he gets in the "stance" quickly get him to the bathroom or potty chair. I had three potty chairs around the house so we were always close. Put a stool in front of all the toilets. I had a great seat that you put on the regular toilets.

Cherrios work great put a few in the toilet and just let them aim little boys like that. I used it with all 3 of my boys it made it fun for them and it ended up being a shooting game.

With mine, I used fruit loops. I made it into a game. Throw some fruit loops into the potty and see how many they can sink. Mine thought it was so funny...also boys mature a little bit slower that girls..so don't sweat it. My sisters little boy just now is potty trained and he is turning 3 this month.

I have two children that I have potty trained and then there is my last. He is very stuborn. So a freind suggested a book called How To Potty Train Your Child In 1 Day. or something like that. She potty trained her 3 children with it and swears by it.

Potty training? we live out in the country and my nephews that I helped raise wouldn't pee in to potty so I had them start by peeing on a tree right outside the back door. I wouldn't suggest that if you live in the city. But boys do usually take a bit longer than girls do. If you are really worried about it you can talk to your pediaitrition.
