Anybody here working 12 hour shifts? And single?

Hello all!
I am a single mother who works 12 hour shifts and I'm single. I'm trying so hard to deal with not having enough time with her. On top of the 12 hour shift there is also the commute time. I basically see her in the morning while she's asleep and then come back to her just in time for bed or sometimes already in bed. It's getting e upset as she's becoming more attached to her grandmother. And it doesn't help0 as my mother likes to think she's the mother anyways.

Any words of support or advice?

Thank you

I would never want to make a single mom feel guilty for doing what they need to. You have to work with the opportunities you are given. However, have you seriously considered finding another job? While I was a single mom, I was able to also be a nanny while taking care of my daughter. I know that people say your career should come first but I honestly don't believe that time with your precious little one is worth a career.
Again, I want to emphasize the fact that I'm not trying to make you feel guilty because you're obviously already feeling that. But if there's a way to change jobs, I would do it. If it means living with family, cutting back on expenses, etc. it would be worth it. I'll be praying for you. I know it's not easy being the one to make all these decisions.
