how many hours do your babies sleep through at night. my little girl goes down about 7.30 and wakes at 6 am and sometimes earlier i wish i could get her to sleep for the full 12 hours. most of my friends babies do she has 2 little naps in the day as well. was thinking of getting the gina ford book to help me . xxx

My dd goes to bed between 7 and 8 and usually only sleeps until 6-7am. If she needs more she'll sleep more, but that seems to be all she needs right now.
Every child is different. Just because your friends kids need that much sleep doesn't me yours or mine does. kwim?

My son is 8 months and at this point he should only be getting 14 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. He sleeps 10-11 hours at night and then he'll have one good solid nap in the mid-morning to early afternoon and then he's up the rest of the day. He used to take 2 naps, but he's kicked one of them.

Put her to bed later if you want her to sleep later. My daughter sleeps from 9-9 except during the week when I have to wake her around 8:30 to leave the house. She also takes one or 2 naps a day depending on if she actually takes her 2nd nap or just lays in the crib which she's done a lot of lately. Some kids just get programmed to sleep a certain amount of time. lol.

Count your blessings. My son is 16 months old and still doesn't sleep that long. My friend's son is 2.5 years old and started sleeping through the night about 2 months ago.
