How do you do it?!

I have gone back to day time work a month ago and work 3 days a week. I also work 2 nights as well. Has anyone managed to stop themselves feeling guilty about going back to work and if so HOW?

My kids are 2 and 4 and i have worked one or two days a week since they were babies but my parents have always looked after them. Going back full days and getting a childminder to take care of them is very hard for me to accept even though im very happy at work.

They are very happy with the chidminder and dont seem to mind me working. maybe its just me!

i also feel like im on a permanent guilt trip when my childminder does things with my kids that im used to doing!

Also has anyone got any tips on how to stay on top of the housework? Its lik,e im never sat down!

Thanks! your help will be appreciated!

Hi sorry guilt seems to come with the territory to meny things to do and not enough time or money. I dont think it matters if we have the best childminder ever we still feel like its are job and were the best at doing things for are children I ghuess we just have to lern to give up a little bit of control im still lerning this though lol. House work yuck i gave up for awhile and only did the basics but now that dev is a bitt bigger its easer to keep up he even helps hes two. I work all week so my house gets worse during the week but saterdays are clean day i wake up early and get everything i can done so the afternoon is play time and all day sunday too good luck
