If you want to keep a constant eye on her/him, put in a secure car seat on the bathroom floor and take a long, hot bath. I did this when I would watch my infant niece.

yes..just make sure you will bath faster..and put baby in a safe place preferably while she/he in deep atsleep so that when your taking a bath you will not be disturb by his/her cry..

honestly that's the only way you'll get to shower if you're alone a lot like i was. i waited til my baby was asleep and put him in his car seat and then put him in the bathroom with me, left the door open, and not too much steam just in case it would bother him and he was fine. i did make sure my bathroom was clean though and free of any cleaning chemical fumes. right after i had my baby taking a shower was really important to me, it really helped me to feel refreshed and stay sane when i was barely sleeping.

When my twins boys were at this age and a few months older, I put them on their bouncy chairs while I showered. I made sure I had the bathroom door opened and could also see them from my shower. Every now and then I would peak over and look at them. They are 20 months old :)

Do you mean in the bathtub or on the bathroom floor in a bouncy seat?

Yes as long as she is strapped securely in a bouncer or a car seat.
Always have the fan on (if have one) to remove any steam & keep the door open - place her only just in the bathroom so not to near the bath/shower.
I had to as was on my own at the time & even if had a partner most of the time they would be at work when need to shower.
Bathing with babe is a good bonding method - wash hair beforehand so its out of the way, don't feel the bath up too much & only at the temp for the baby.
All the best.

In her car seat yes. It is fine while she is taking a bit of a nap.

I did. I put both of mine in an infant chair in the bathroom. I kept the fan running to help with any steam.

One things I've also done (if you have a shower/tub) is to quickly wash my hair over the side of the tub and then fill up the bath and bathe with my 3 week old. I love the bonding time we get together, baby gets clean and mom gets clean. Just be sure not to fill the bath too much or too warm and never leave your baby unattended in/near water. My daughter loves mommy/baby bath times!

I've done the same, I've kept the door open to the bathroom and pulled her Rock n' Sleeper to the doorway.
She adored the sound and loved the steam. I didn't enclose her in the actual bathroom though in case the steam got to be too hot or too much for her to breathe.

I always strapped mine into a bouncy seat and would peak out occasionally, as they got older I put them into their stationary entertainer seat.

I bring the co-sleeper right by the bathroom door and catch a shower while she naps
