My little girl is almost 4 months old. Like most kids, she gets boogers and hates to have me clean them out. I have a NasalClear Nasal Aspirator as well as the big green bulb, I have also tried using q-tips. She absolutely hates getting her nose cleaned. She gets angry and cry's (big crocodile tears) which causes her to make more boogers so everything we did was for nothing. So I was curious how everyone else deals with getting rid of them

As far as I remember, I just wipe it very quickly using a soft damp cloth. And I make it a point to wipe quite often and not wait for the Boogies to dry up. I don't usually use wipes because it always leaves some alcohol or perfume which causes irritant. Distraction/diversion also helps while wiping. Bath time would also be a good time to entirely clean out any remaining nose Boogies..

I only ever resorted to the boogie suckers as a last resort for those suborn boogies . . . a tissue or a wet wash cloth did just fine! She hated it anyway, but I'd get her distracted and make her laugh then whip out the wash cloth for a quick stealthy wipe! By the time she realized what was happening and would start to cry, it was already over with and I'd start tickling her to get her laughing again!

No baby likes that... I was just super quick about it, and put my son up in his favorite spot over my shoulder, so that from start to finish, it was less than 5 minutes.

I also you Little Noses Saline drops you can hold the bottle up right it will mist and then its easier to just wipe the boogies away. If not I used the bulb. I also have a nose aspirator and wasnt very pleased with the results.

At Sams Club, target and Walmart they have something called Boogie Wipes. They are saline wipes that are really gentle and my son who is 2 now loves them. They make it really easy to wipe the crusties on the nose and around the nose. They also have Little Noses Saline drops that we would just drop in his nose and once it loosened up we could wipe his nose with the Boogie Wipes.
