Coping with Halloween Parties whilst at work

I love this time of the year with all the festivities coming up, the first being Halloween, whooooo...
However I am finding that all the parties my daughter is being invited are during the day when I am at work and I am now feeling completely guilty that she is going to miss out. I know she won't even remember this, so it isn't really a big deal, but as a child of a single working mum I have always promised myself that I would try and give her what I never had and now I am breaking my promise so soon!!

I was just curious if this is happening to others too!!

Why dont you try talking to other mums and dads of the kids going to the parties your daughter has benn invited to and see if any of them could take and collect her. Loads of parents struggle to juggle work and been a parent and Im sure there will be times when you can repay the favor back to the parents
