hi my baby gal just turned one..shes a real active kid who does babbling,walking(abit of running),eating her stuff without fuss,sleeeping routinely etc...my only worry is she hasnt had her first tooth yet...she seems to show no signs of teething either...her doc has given her vits and calcium supplements...should i be concerned more than needed?

Don't worry at all the later the better ! Beside u dont want any cavieties , do u ? Shes growing at her own pace. Enjoy the little moments they go so fast.

You may want to ask your own mother and the paternal grandmother when you and her father initially began teething, because it has been shown to be hereditary. In other words, since she is a late teether, chances are you or her father was also a late teether.

No. She will start teething when she is ready to. She is meeting her milestones as far as I can see. i know of some kids who got their first teeth at 15 months old... there are no worries to have.
