I have been taking Alex to daycare for 3 years now. He has been telling both my husband and I for the past six months that he hates going and everyday he sais he doesn't want to go. Today he cried when I left him!
I have talked to his teacher ms Wendy and she tells me everything is ok at school so I don't know what is up.

That's a good Idea for the drive by but I go to work all day but my husband could go by when he gets off work before he picks him up just to check things out. Thanks for both of your replies and suggestions. My son too is sensitive but he doesn't like to admit being hurt by kids at day care..we will check things out there.

I agree with Diane. You and/or your husband should drop by at some point during the day to see what's up.
It's also possible that he may be having problems with one of the other kids. There's a new girl at my son's preschool who is just a little brat, and Jack doesn't like having to deal with her. It also seems that my son is more sensitive to being "hurt". For example, he'll say that So-and-So "hit" him, but when I ask, he usually says it's "on accident", so it could simply have been that the kid jostled him in line or at lunch.
Have there been changes to the kids and/or teachers at day care? If one of your son's good friends is gone, then he might want to go too.

Just out of curiosity, have you done unannounced stop-by's at the day care? I would not tell them I'm coming and come by during the middle of the day one day to see what's going on and how he's doing. Maybe there is something going on that the teachers are not aware of that you will see.
