I feel I have the best of both worlds. I am able to work from home around my kid's schedule. When I was on maternity leave with my first child, I started a home based business and was able to replace my salary before my maternity leave was over. I have never regretted leaving my corporate job because now I can be present with my children for all those special moments and firsts, yet I still get to be challenged and having something to call my own outside of being a Mom. Guilt free!

I feel guilty because I was a stay at home mom for the first six months but ended up going back to the workforce. I would much rather be a work at home mom, although I doubt I would get much actual work done!

I dont feel guilty for all the time I am away, but do wish I had more time with him - especially a baby since they change and do new things every day!

I feel guilty because I only have my son half the time. My soon to be ex and I split custody 50/50 and ever since then I cant stand to be at work the days I have him.

Yes, I do, it seems as if I dion't spend any quality time with my daughter, working 2 jobs. I feel bad everyday and when I do have a day off, I'm to tired to run around with her.

I feel alittle guilty working because I love my kids and want to spend time with them but I know that I need to work not only for the money but also for my own sanity. I tried to be a stay at home mom and that is just not for me. I went nuts just talking to little people that dont respond all day so I am glad that I have a job and get to talk to adults. i am also glad that I only work 8-4 m-f so I have nights and weekends to spend time with them. I think it makes me a better mother to not be with them all the time.
