I don't work second shift per se all the time but I work retail so my schedule is very crazy, especially during the holidays. My husband works 6pm to 2am, so he's home with the kids all day and then my MIL takes them until I get out of work to pick them up. When my MIL can't watch them, she usually knows in advance I have my mother come stay with us she lives 4 hours away. Thank god for family or else my husband would have to go to days and we would have to pay for daycare each week.
