My daughter is 1 and she would wake up in the middle of the night just once but every night at the same time. We thought it was because she was hungry but her Pediatrician said to just make sure she's comfortable and let her go back to sleep on her own because giving her food was just a comfort thing.

Is he going through a growth spurt? Maybe it's time to adjust the amount of formula/breastmilk he is getting at a feeding. Is he teething? Is he reaching a new milestone (crawling, for instance)? I have read that sometimes babies will "practice" their new milestones in their sleep which will sometimes cause them to wake up. All just thoughts.

My son is nearly 6 months old and usually he has been sleeping through the night, but this last week he has been waking up like he used. He will wake up usually just once to eat and goes right back to sleep. How old is your little one?
