I don't know if you are over 30 or not but when I had my second baby it was harder for me to drop the weight with him. It took me about 9 months to loose all of the baby fat and now I am under the weight I was before I got pregnant. It is hard but I choose to count calories and work out at the gym 3-4 days a week. I work full-time so I would get out of work and immediately go to the gym for 40 - 45 minutes. I would do 30 minutes of cardio and then work on doing bench crunches, glut presses and lunches with 8 pound weights. Over time I manages to loose 55 Ibs. I choose to work out right after work because I knew that if I didn't do it then that I would never find time to do it at home with my busy kids. Good luck.

Just like alot of the other moms said you have to remain active. It is much harder to loose the weight after having more than one child. It is also harder being 30+. I have three children and I am back at my original weight as well. I took my children out for power walks in their strollers. I also used the billy blanks tae-bo videos in my home. Those dvd's really do work. I also ate small portions and didn't eat very late at night. You have to really push yourself but when you do the results will pay off and you will be happy with your results. I wish you the best.

I have a 6 weeks old baby girl and I am already back in my jeans and weigh 1lbs less then I did before I was pregant. Honestly it isnt easy but you have to force yourself to find time. I work too and I just tell myself on these days I'm going to the gym or working out with the wii @ home. Eventually it'll just be routine. I eat pretty well, but I don't starve myself and believe me I have some junk every once in awhile. Also for me being fit and drinking a ton of water while I was pregnant helped too. I went to the gym till my 8th month and drank water like it was going out of style. Hope that helps : )

Thanks for the tips! I'm finding it harder to shed those extra kilos after baby no.2 (it seemed much easier 7 years ago for the first one!). My LO's 6 months old and I still look about 5 months pregnant! I'm still breastfeeding and my LO feeds pretty much constantly (a bit less now that he's eating) but I'm still ravenous the whole time and just want to eat!! Time is an issue, but I have to make a point of doing something physical or those kilos will never disappear! I do walk with the baby, but I guess leisurely stroll would describe that activity! A friend is going to lend me a pilates dvd so I'll give it go and see how that works but I GOTTA DO SOMETHING!!!!!

I started with prevention magazine..30 min. DVD exercises...plus walking ...take the little one out for a walk...most babies love that..sleep is very important too...try to rest when they rest...just keep active...

Believe it or not you have to eat more. If you google how to increase your matabolism you'll find great ways to eat the right things every couple of hours and shed the weight. The trick is small meals that are high in fiber and protien and throw in some diet pills and it will work!
