Does anyone use a nanny?

My 2 munchkins have always gone to a center daycare which my husband and I love. We have recently been considering a third baby but the only way we could afford it is to hire a nanny. (Or, I could quit my job until they are all school age....) I've never really liked the idea of a nanny but I've been thinking about it more recently and was wondering if anyone out there used a nanny and what their experience was. I'd love to hear any comments, positive or negative! Thanks.

I've never used a nanny, but know a lot of people who have and they loved it. It gives so much more freedom. My friend was also a nanny and she loved to do it. If I had the money I would hire one too!
