Does anyone workout? When do you workout in the morning?

Just from pre-kids, I know I prefer to workout in the evenings / dinner time but that just doesn't happen, so as much as I love my sleep, I get up an hour earlier than I would to work out. (On weekends it's during their nap time however)

I use my daughter's nap time as my workout time. I use BeachBody P90X routines and love them. They are all about an hour long so I can get a great and intense workout done before she wakes up. I actually became a coach for beachbody I love the workouts so much.
If anyone is looking a good workout check me out at www.beachbodycoach.com/bbcoachkris
I promise you will see results

Right now I'm pregnant so getting up early isn't an option for me as I need my sleep, but I would wake up about an hour early to work out.
I also go for walks and other activities with my family when I get home from work in the summer. If the weather's bad and my son isn't ready to go to bed at 8 I'll do a DVD while my husband watches my son. Sometimes if I can get my son to join in it's fun!

I find early morning workouts are a great way to get the heart pumping and you definitely get a boost of energy to keep you going. I usually couple that w/the days/times the childminding service is available and hit the gym after work. Are there any women's only clubs in your area that might offer childminding? If a membership is not in your budget .. work out w/baby at home or at the playground. They'll have fun and so will you ! :O)

I workout with my 4 girls just by turning on fast music and inventing aerobic dances for them. The girls love it (me too). I have weights and use them too (or just toss the girls around lol!) so usually I just take one or two songs every now and then. Sometimes I get as much as 1 hour of workout, sometimes as few as 3 minutes. I also use a workout dvd I love (and my girls do to, it's dance-based) at least three times a week in the early morning (4-5am) before anyone is awake.

I've been a competitive cyclist for 3 years now and absolutely love it! I love the challenge of competition, the friendships I've established and I love feeling good in my body. But since I do work I feel terribly guilty taking time away from my family and have recently decided to give up competition. I still ride for fitness but maybe only 1/3 of what I did before, and I miss it. It's hard to fit it all in! We weren't meant to raise kids in isolation! Cooking, cleaning, organizing, school, etc aren't conducive to staying physically fit...something had to give for me.
I'm hoping to have more time when work evens out next race season.
