Though I find it challenging to distinguish a balance between the two, I must say, my daughter is doing extremely well in school, (high honors), and she is the most well mannered child I have ever seen. I believe as long as you child(ren) know that you are there for them , and you have established they have top priority in your life, you are fulfilling both obligations!:)

I have 6 of my own kids plus 3 more living with me and i work full time. My husband also works away from home, on and off through the year. I believe if you are a strong person and can cope with what is handed out to you everything will turn out for the best. Sounds like you are doing great. Love your family and they will love you and learn from you.

no i think so, you can get away from the kids or 8 hours and then when you see them you can just hug and kiss all on them. sometimes i dont want to work but it gives me a break from the kids and then when you are away from work you dont worry about work. that is what i do now

I consider myself a full time mom, full time wife and a full time professional...in other words I'm Super Woman and so are all of you! My children are extremely well behaved, extremely advanced and are overall pretty fantastic kids. I am also completely fulfilled mentally, emotionally and physically and happy that my family never has to go without. I don't feel like I half ass any one of those roles quite frankly...LOL! :o)

I like to say i have two full time job and and one of them is the best,hardest,and most rewarding job ever and it just something no amount of money could come close too and that why i work so hard cause my mother was a single mom of three and worked 3 jobs to take care of me and my brother and sister and i know thats why i am the way that i am and i know in the long run my girls will one day feel the same way about me as i do about my mother

i count myself as a full time mom, wife and Nursing aid and soon to be nursing student ... I've always worked full time and although there are times when i question if I should be working it makes the times I spnd with my daughters and husband even more enjoyable and priceless! my family means the world to me and i do what I have to to make sure they have the life they deserve! i love my life and count my self lucky to have the life and family tht i do!!!
