Hi,
Just wanted a bit of advice if anyone can. My DS daughter is 4 and just started nursery. I am a single parent and work 27.5 hrs.

I must admit I'm absolutely exhausted and there are some days when i just think i really cant keep going... but you know us mums and i do. But I am struggling. My workplace isn't good with flexi, and I daren't ask to cut my hrs anymore... and money wise... well I work for nothing, I'm lucky if all the bills are covered every month, I sometimes think it'd be so much better if i quit and sat on my backside doing nothing all day, I'd be alot better off money wise... bt I cant do that I aren't that kind of person, even as hard as it gets.

Can anyone give any advice on money, or rights at work with hrs etc, cos I really do need to do something... I'm gunna be no good for my daughter if I keep going as I am.

Thanks in advance

B

Congratulations !! on having a job.!! Start to cut back on some of your expenses. Try to sacrifice a little now for later. Sounds like you need the short hours so that you can spend time with your little one. This is most important, as time is our most valuable commodity. Also research small low cost at-home busineess you can do on your spear time from home. Good luck!
