Everyone is definately different. I was on the shot for 3 years. I was unable to make an appointment one time and went 3 days late. They tested me to make sure I wasn't pregnant before giving me the shot...and I was!!!!! I was in shock! If I ever went late for my shot, I'd start my period the next day (after the end of the two week period they give you to get the next shot) It really was that quick for me....

I was on the shot for 3 years. I went off and after 10 months of almost no periods, I went on pills to regulate my period for 2 months, then the next month I got pregnant. I had a friend who was only on it for a year and after she went off it took her 3 years to get pregnant. I think all women are a little different, just have patients.

I was on the same for about 3 years, and I stopped getting the shot and started taking wild yam to try and regulate my hormones, then it took about 18 months total for me to get pregnant after I got off the shot.

i was on that shot for 1yr, decided to get pregnant again so went off. It took 3months before i had my period but it took 4 yrs before i got pregnant. I had many investigation, did the fertility pills, even did the surgery thing to make sure everything was good. Found out after the fact that it can take 2 yrs before the complete effects of the depo to leave the body. Not always the fact for some women, but for many , they do have problems gettin pregnant following it. I suggest just give it some time, cause it will happen. :)
