I work full-time and go to school full-time on top of being a wife and mom to my three year old son. Recently I've been searching for a moms group in my local area the only ones I find are for stay at home moms. Why is this? I think its important for working mom to socialize with other moms. I am thinking about starting a play group for working moms. Are there any other moms who feel this way or are you to busy and would rather spend time with your family and close friends.

Is there anybody here from Doral, FL? I really need to meet new people specially if they are moms like me. I like to be part of a group where we can get together x times per month. It would be nice to get out of the routine. :-)

i am a working mum but my children are all over 21, i didnt go back to work until they were all out of the nest so to speak. i still find it hard to not be there for them but i think you have to think of yourself sometimes and just get on with it. i think i might have went mad if i had stayed in the house any longer

i am a working mom i work full time 8-5:30 everyday and 8:30-3:00 on saturday i don't have any friends were i live most of the women i know are crazy or just really nosy and like to talk about ppl behind there backs i don't trust anyone around here. so my only time to talk to women is getting on here or calling my mom who lives in Michigan. i did have a best friend who has a son but she lives in Texas. don't feel bad that you can't find a mom group, i can't either. besides i think i much rather not befriend anyone here, that way whatever i say does not get spread around town. that's how bad it is.

I agree that this would be nice, if you could find time! I worked full time (65 hrs a week) and then went to school online, while being a wife and mother. I went to a moms night out but thats it. Im glad that Im workling from home now, and I wouldnt change a thing! Good luck

I have the same desire - not many of my friends have kids, and they are stay - at - home moms by and large. I want to spend as much time with my son as possible when I am home, so I would love a play group with other working moms. That way I would get to socialize and also see my son. Good luck to you - tell us how it goes!

I have joined a working moms group in my area, and we try to meet up at least once a month. Sometimes it is with kids, sometimes without. It is nice to get out and talk to other people that experience the same challenges, feelings, etc that you do.
