I am trying to lose weight and I am in need of some great tasting low calorie recipes that even my husband and kids will like. Does anybody know of any that they have tried and enjoyed?

An easy way to keep everyone happy and loose weight is to make meat, starch (pasta, rice, potatoes) and vegetables (hot veggie or salad). Give your kids a big serving of pasta with a bit of meat and veggies, hubby gets a big piece of meat with half veggies half pasta. You have only meat and veggies, with you starch or a piece of whole grain toast.

Do you have a crock pot? We make turkey meatballs with fat free sauce at least once a week. I use ground turkey, one egg, a little bit of breadcrumbs and seasoning. Brown them a little and toss them in the crock pot with the sauce on low all day. I make pasta with it and a salad and then I eat very little of the pasta. Everyone loves it and its easy.
The other one we do a lot is a mexican chicken bake. I but fat free soft tortillas, ground turkey, beans, fat free cheese and fat free salsa. Cook turkey meat. In a glass baking dish put the a row of tortillas, then meat, then cheese, then beans and repeat until it gets full. End with cheese. Bake on 350 for about 30 minutes or until the cheese starts to bubble Remove, cut in to squares and serve with fat free salsa and fat free sour cream. I typically make a salad with this as well.
I have 3 part time jobs and a little guy and I really do enjoy cooking but find that my time is really limited.
