HELP! GOOD BREAST PUMP

Hi working mums, please suggest a good reliable breast pump. I am frustrated by mine.

I bought a Phillip Avent manual breast pump, it meant to be good, it has good review and quite expensive. But it was really good for a few days, expressed a lot of milk quickly and after that it just works on one day and not work on the other, and one little part in it just keeps on popping off, I have to reassemble a million times during each express, so unhygien and inefficient.

Then I borrowed a Pigion electrical one, OMG, so slow, and it hurts sometimes.

Please help, what breast pump is good? I don't care how much, as long as it works well and doesn't cause problem.

Medela pump in style! You can use it anywhere. Runs on batteries, car adapter, and plugs into a wall outlet. I breast fed twins. I was able to pump and freeze over 100 oz for when I returned to work. And when I went back to work full time I pumped every 3hrs. and was able to keep up pretty good until I dried up at 7mos of breast feeding.

I have the medella pump in style and love it. I have been using it now for 3 months and it works as good as day 1. It is great as comes in a bag or backpack and is self contained and easy to use. I pump every 4 hours or so while at work everyday and sometimes now at night as she is sleeping 8 hours and I tend to wake up after 5 hours without her eating and need to pump. I highly recommend it. It may be pricey but definately worth. I have the dual and as a full time working mom average of 45-50 hours a week. Would not trade it for the world.

I got a prescription for a Medela Mini Electric electric pump and I used it a lot with my first child when I had to work, and then with my twins. U can pump only one at a time, so, it takes quite a while to do one and then the other side, but it worked quite fine and it's not so expensive. It costs between 50 and 70 EUR., depending on where you buy it. Alternatively, you can rent one at a pharmacy that comes with two pumps. Try to get a prescription for either one on the grounds that you're working.

I have a Medela Pump In Style Advanced and I love it! It works great. It is kind of pricey at around $280-$300. I pump normally around 4 times away and I've been doing this for about 9 wks so far.

I had a preemie and rented a hospital grade pump -- Medela Symphony. I think they make a similar model (In Style?) that is sold in stores for ~$300. It has an initial, quick, light setting for let down then a slower, heavier one for the real business. It was also the pump the NICU had in the "pumping rooms" -- all moms had their own kit that went with the pump.

I pumped every 4-8 hours every day for 14 weeks and it kept on motoring. I think I had to reset it once for an issue with the electronic setting dial, but the pump itself is a beast! (in a good way)

If you need a maual one then I dont know which one can help you on that, but for an electrical one: The best of the best is a Medela breast pump. They are quite pricey, but awesome. I used that one for my 2nd son, cuz he was a premie and that had the best recommendations for preemies.
For my 3rd son I bought an Ameda Purely Yours. That worked great too. I recommend either one.
They come in nice storage bags, some have a car adapter to use in the car. They're awesome. Good luck

I would rent one. That is what I did. I rented from the pharmacy at my hospital. It's like $12 a month...which is cheap. They are super fast and all you have to buy is the bottles.
