lol... sorry but this put a smile on my face. I'm a mother of 3 boys, ages 19, 13, and 8. Each one of them went thru this at one time or another growing up. One thing I did when I noticed this going on, I changed the way I talked to them. My mom always said that kids will learn what they hear. And just remember, that each step along the way is just a "phase". Her personality is still developing and you have to mold her to the person you want her to be. Hang in there!...

Yes...I definitely agree with Suellen. It is just a phase and it will pass. But I know that it does help for toddlers to be in preschool because they learn to be more independant but surely at home, she will always want you to take care of her. You are her mommy. She loves you and knows that you do have to take care of her. But my son at 18 months is going through a fussy & clingy phase and he cries when I drop him off at the sitter, but when i come home he goes "Mamamaa! and I love it! But each child is unique and learns their habits from their environment so however you would like her to behave just teach her!

Well my son is only 18 months, but I am pretty sure that is normal about saying no. Is she in daycare or preschool? If she isn't you might want to get her in there so she can learn how to do things for herself and rely on other people besides mom.
