Hey ladies I am new in the community, my worry is I have 2 step sons my husband is forcing me to love them exactly the way I love my children. I love them but he is complaining I am giving too much attention to my son. The step kids are 12 and 10 yrs while my son is just 5yrs. Somebody help

bonding should be natural and NEVER forced. If the bonding is FORCED it will cause resentment and anger. The boys will notice too. Do what comes natural to you and all else will fall in line if you give it the time. Your husband needs to chill the hell out. Depriving your child love to give to the boys won't help at all.

Does it help if I say I get it? Your opportunities to bond with the boys....are going to feel contrived, you have to step up and make a bond with them. Even if you do not always FEEL it.
