How did everyone feel going back to work? Im still on maternity leave, only have 6 weeks and already they are going back fast. It sucks. Although on one hand I miss work but I think its because I know I have to go back, if I knew I could stay home I would just eventually forget about it and move on. Was anyone suprised how they felt going back, did you cry? Were you happy to be back? Did you have the opposite reaction you thought you would have?

Where do you live? Canada? I think they get long maternity leave..

that seems so little compared to what we get here...I should count myself lucky!
No doubt this time next month I will be crying too :(

Amy, I think Im going to cry too. Ruth I get 6 weeks maternity leave, I could stay out longer and add on another 12 weeks, but I wouldn't get paid them 12 weeks.So 6 weeks maternity leave I get 60% my pay. I go back March 5th, time is going by too fast.. :(

Both times I returned to work I spent the entire weekend before crying my eyes out. It was extremely difficult but once I got back into work I was fine. My kids are 7 and 3 and there are some days that I still get upset but I have to provide for them so it's not an option to stay home.
