My husband works currently and I am contemplating on going back to work, if one of us can stay home with our little one Id love that. I love my husband dearly I do and I dont like to admit it, but I am worried, very worried on how he would handle staying with our son. Usually when he gets home, he sits down and rests, even when I have things to do dinner, shower anything that invovled his direct attention to our son, he usually whats tv and lets him play alone, even on weekends when we are all together he just isnt one for getting on our sons level and playing and teaching him the best he could be. We have discussed this a little bit, and he said that he would love it, but Im just worried he is not going to fill my shoes, truthfully. Just seems like cleaning cooking playing teaching our son things arnt much in his line up of everyday life. Im also worried things are going to be so messy all the time and Ill have to work and come home and clean and do everything cuz he wont. Does other people feel like that or have felt like that at first when their husbands started to stay home with their kids? and if so where things as you expected or did they really step up to the plate?
