I hope you could give me some tips/advice on how to deal with this. It really kills me seeing her cry and call me "Mamma" everytime I leave the house for work... :(

Hi Nekeyta! I have no problem leaving the house for work because I know that it's really for my baby and the family. My struggle is how to go to work wirth peace of mind knowing my baby's not crying just to be with me.

Hi Traci! thanks for sharing, appreciate it. I wish I could explain to her why Mom's leaving everyday but she's only a year and a half. I actually have tried talking to her about me leaving for work... bu she never listened. she will just cry out loud! =(

You know it will never be easy to leave and have your baby cry for you. The best thing that ever did was find work that worked for me. You have to enjoy what you do ....even leaving the house!

My daughter is 3, she started daycare at 18 months old, and she still cries when i leave her!! it is terrible. the only that works for me most days is let her know i love her and leave. Also what helps is telling her that i will be back. that seems to make her feel better. she almost immediately stops crying after i've left and i know that she is fine and well taken care of. it is much harder for us mom's i think. it kills me everytime i leave though. Good Luck! :)
