It's ok to want time to yourself, to be around adults, to just be out of the house doing something different. You're being a good role model by providing for your family, too. It's great that you were able to be home with your kids for so long, but now that they're all pretty much in school, you'll need something to do with your time, anyway.

Well I guess the reason I work as a single mom is to set a good example for my children.   We try to teach them that they have to work for what they recieve and I want my daughters to grow up and be independant and capable.  To me working brings so much more than money and going on welfare was never an option and I do not get child support and even if he did pay it would not be enough to pay the bills.  My kids know that I would love to spend every second with them but I love them enough to do what it takes to take care of them.  I also think it teaches all kids to be independent and motivated.
