I have a "regular" office job with benefits. I will go on disability/maternity leave like usual for that job. I recently picked up a second job doing contract work from home. Very recently; not even officially started yet still filling out paperwork and stuff. I'm just wondering if any one has experience with the two types of work. If I'm getting disability while on leave from my regular job (last pregnancy I had to leave work on disability 3 weeks before my daughter was born), and then maternity leave, can I still do the contract work from home or will that mess up my disability benefits? Do I need to stop the contract work while I am receiving disability/maternity from my other job?
