HELP!!! My daughter would not sleep through the night, the day she started crawling, that's the last day she slept through the night. Anyone has any suggestions? I will be going back to work very soon.

That's the thing she does not eat when she gets up she just wants to play for about 4 hrs then wants a bottle before she sleeps.

I have been giving her baths just before bed with massages and all that and she still gets up after about 3hrs sleep. Lullabies does not work for her it seem to stimulate her instead. I just have to keep hoping she sleeps through soon.

I have noticed that when they get older they can wake during the night. I find that making sure they have eaten well during the day helps, as I think that the older and mobile they get the more food they need, so they wake up as they are hungry.

Don't worry its very common for toddlers/babies not to sleep until they are over 1 years, my daughter is 11 months and doesn't sleep through. My 4 year old was sleeping through at 6 months I have done exactly the same with them but she just seems to get up. I have followed controlled crying baths, music, stories, lights you name it my health visitor said don't worry so I don't. It is tiring but I know she will sleep through in the end, this may not help you but your not on your own.

Have you tried giving her a bath right before bed.. it usually soothes them and keeps them asleep all night. There's all baby massages, lullabies.. as much relaxation right before bed time. Does she take a binky? If so, that helps too. My 10 month old loves a little aquarium we got him and it helps him drift off asleep. I would also try to not pick her up when she awakes, gentle rubbing of her back and telling her to go back to sleep... Hope some of it helps! Good luck!
